Cambridge House, Bendigo
Immerse yourself in the character and charm that is Cambridge House. Well maintained, this beautiful Californian Bungalow home retains many period features so you can sit back and relax indoors or enjoy easy access to the centre of Bendigo. Cambridge House features a light-filled lounge and dining room with decorative ceilings, sizable bedrooms for up to six guests, updated kitchen, bathroom with bath, laundry and a large backyard with a swimming pool to enjoy on those warm nights.
The Space:
Centrally located on Mitchell Street Bendigo, Cambridge House is conveniently a short walk away from the centre of town. Stay at Cambridge and you'll have Rosalind Park, Bendigo Art Gallery and ample cafes and restaurants on your doorstep.
Cambridge House has three bedrooms which house up to six guests. Two bedrooms feature comfortable queen beds, whilst the third bedroom is set up with two single beds making this an ideal stay for travellers of all kinds. Beds also have electric blankets for additional comfort. The fully-equipped kitchen features all cooking essentials and a BBQ is available outside should you wish to cook up a storm.
Inside you can relax in the historic lounge room with TV, dining room or enjoy the sizable backyard with fully fenced pool.
For those travelling by car, ample parking is available at the back of the property for larger cars/utes/trailers. This is perfect for tradies and families that need that extra space. Parking is also available at the front of the property for your convenience.
This studio is walking distance from many main attractions. A car is recommended to further explore Bendigo however buses are also available nearby. The studio has one carpark allocated.
PortaCot Available:
We have a PortaCot available for guests to use, that is stored offsite. If you would like to use it, there is a $75 fee.
Please note:
- Guests must request the PortaCot at least 48 hours before their arrrival.
- Linen is not provided; guests will need to bring their own.
- If the PortaCot has been reserved by another guest, it may be unavailable for your stay
If you would like to arrange use of the PortaCot, please let us know when making your booking.

You will have access to the whole property.
The neighborhood:
Bendigo, put on the map during the gold rush is located in North West Victoria. Boasting historic buildings, the town is well-known for its beautiful gardens, an up-and-coming restaurant scene and Melbourne style cafes. Main attractions include the Bendigo Art Gallery, Rosalind Park, the Deborah Gold Mine and the tram that goes through the centre of town.
Getting around:
Cambridge House is a walk or short drive away from Bendigo's town centre. In fact, you'll be able to walk to Bendigo's marketplace or the train station in less than 10 minutes.
Other things to note:
Please note that the pool isn't heated but is available for your use year-round.
If children are using the pool, please ensure they are supervised.
If you choose you use the pool, you do so on your own risk.
