The cottage is clean and welcoming. The connection with nature that you create at this property has no rival. Cathy the owner met us just after we arrived and told us everything we needed to know. This was our second time staying here and we can't wait to come back! Highly recommended, just not when we want to book. ;-)
Fabulous property. Everything we needed was there. The hosts were quick to respond and help with a couple issues/questions we had. The water is clean and the little waterfall created a serene ambiance. We will definitely come back.
Our 2nd visit to High Falls Eddy was picture perfect and exactly what we all needed to disconnect from the outside world and relax together as a family. We had everything we needed and the peace and serenity of the location was absolute bliss.

Thanks for sharing your enjoyment of relaxing and peaceful location! We were happy to see you and your family again this year. You are welcome to visit us again soon.
The property and location were exactly what we were looking for to celebrate our anniversary. The serine landscape, and peacefull sound of the falls made the experience relaxing. Cathy kept in touch with us when the rain came with gental reminders about the change in water levels, and the use of electrical, much appreciated.
Dynamite spot on the river, nestled away in the woods. Were the bugs bad? Yeah, somewhat. Was it crazy hot in the cottage at night? Yes. Did we still have a great time? We sure did! The river and swim platform were great for cooling off, and the ample firewood made for some great bonfires. The buildings are all very rustic and cozy and have a great vibe. We had a few small issues along the way, but Cathy responded to messages very quickly and things were resolved in short order.
From the moment we booked, we were kept informed and welcomed by the host.
Upon arriving at the cottage, we were impressed. Super clean. Everything we could possibly need. And a setting that was glorious. We truly unplugged and enjoyed the cabins, the river and the peace and quiet. I haven’t slept so well in months with the sound of the falls in the background. We will definitely be back!

Thanks so much. It was a pleasure sharing our paradise with you!
The cottage was spotlessly clean, well laid out and had a lovely cosy atmosphere. No A/C but the temperature cooled down well at night so we never felt too hot. The river area was so secluded and beautiful it was like a dream. Definitely bring water shoes because it’s rocky and slippery. I hate sand so I loved the rocky bottom. My girls aren’t great reliable swimmers so the shallow areas dotted around the deeper areas made them feel safe. They had a blast jumping off the dock. And no dock spiders! We enjoyed canoe rides and playing on the paddle board. The ad says kayaks but there were no kayaks available which was a small disappointment but the river was so fun to canoe up and down. The cute frogs were my kids favourites. We went to the Kinmount Highlands Cinema which was a fun experience. 10/10 I would stay here again

Still there? Sigh.
Look at the photos. They perfectly provide all you need to know about the place.

OK, first, read the property description carefully as it has everything you need to know. One of the most important tips, if you plan on swimming, is to bring water shoes.
The cottage is peace, bliss, and relaxation. The surroundings are gorgeous. The white noise of the falls is soothing. The cottage and bunkies are full of character and very clean. No issues accessing the internet from our phones. The property is VERY private.
Cathy (one of the owners) met us when we arrived and was friendly and informative. Communication leading up to our stay was exceptional.
When you go, be sure to make time to see a movie at the Highlands in Kinmount. It's an experience you won't forget.
