About this property

Comfortable spacey cottage, 7.5km to city centre.

The comfortable cottage has two large master rooms with en-suite (own bathroom) and another spacious bedroom (own bathroom but has a washing machine in) is great for family holidays and a group of business travellers which is less 8kms to heart of city and 7km to Olympic park. Can park 2cars on driveway.

Close to shopping centre(fivedock and Burwood)Coles, Woolworth…

Good public transport, easy to get around.
5 minutes to Burwood, 30 minutes to city by bus. 15 minutes walk to train station.
The space
1930 double bricks cottage house has 3.2 meters high ceiling. Comfortable!

Guest access
It has a long driveway you easy park 2 cars. Just about 15 meters , a lovely small Japanese park just cross street which has kids playground and bbq area.

Other things to note
Please contact me before, if guest want to check-in out of time. For example, you may want to check-in after 10pm, you must tell me exactly time, in case you may need to help(cannot open the front door). And I wouldn’t to respond, if you not to tell or not right time.

The two master rooms have air conditioning but the third room for kids doesn’t have air conditioning.

Guests can access the front yard, courtyard but not the back yard. Thank You.

Great family stay

Bedrooms were a great size and very clean as were the bathrooms. The kitchen was well fitted out for our needs - grandparents, parents, toddler and under 1 year old. Kitchen could have had a heater as we were there in July and there was no other living area apart from a small dinner room, also without a heater.

The host was very rude and unprofessional. I had to extend my stay for one day as my mum was not feeling well. The host wanted me to pay him in cash even though i offered him to make a bank transfer. It took me a while to organise cash payment like he requested, David came inside the property without even asking and started to look inside the house without even knocking the doors. My sister was in the shower and he didn't even care. The cleaning lady was taking videos and was screaming. He was shouting at my family and Threatening to call the police. I begged and requested him for the sake of humanity but he was very rude. He ruined my holiday. I would not recommend this place at all. The cleaning lady stays right behind the property and the house is not worth the money you pay.

Samit was a complete liar! He notified Stayz at 10am that he’d checked out, but it’s not true. I reminded him that my house only accepts 2 nights per stay minimum, how can he re-book my house through Stayz after he submitted“check-out” to Stayz? That’s his trick. (He also used an invalid credit card when he made his first booking.) Samit and his family were unpunctual neither check-in nor check-out. They booked for 7 people but 8 people secretly came in. They played bass music past midnight. Party? He tried to add 1 more night staying because his mum feeling not well…but his mum looked very well and her attitude was very rude. His dad didn’t know that they should checkout that day. Samit was such bad customer I've ever had in my many years as a host. I won’t recommend him to other hosts because he used deceptive tactics to avoid pay the 5 hours extra time fee. Since the check-out time had passed, they neither left nor paid, constituting illegal occupation of the property. Finally, Samit publicly spread rumors and defamed me, so I reserve the right to take legal action.

Nice house, difficult communication, no noise after 10pm

The house is nice, all you need is there (washer, drier, dishwasher…), it was perfect for 2 families (3 bedrooms). Little outside sitting area. It is located in a residential neighbourhood, 1 or 5 minutes to the bus station. It takes 1-1.5 hours to get to the center. We had difficulties with communication. We wanted to extend for 1 night, but it was impossible to communicate that with the host (he couldn't do it through vrbo). Also, be very careful with the noise after 10pm (all we did was talking and playing cards and were threatened with the police). There might be neighbour problems, but the host was very angry. We recommend closing the kitchen window, even if you just talk there.Early check in is charged 50 aud per hour!

On the fifth day they made loud noise until 1:15am. On the sixth day they made loud noise until 1:48am. When check-out, there was a lot of rubbish in every room and kitchen.
