On Georgian Bay, this well-maintained, 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cottage is updated with a 500-square foot addition and floor-to-ceiling panoramic views of Hope Bay. The kitchen is well-stocked with herbs, spices, the basics like flour, sugar, tea, coffee, and the fridge has a full set of condiments and essentials like butter and maple syrup. The kitchen and bathroom are newly renovated, and a small beach in front of the cottage is partially shaded.

At the water is a dock, firepit, chaises lounges, comfortable chairs, and a water view deck for dining. Spring-summer-fall hiking on the Bruce Trail is just a few minutes walk away, and biking is excellent on Bruce Road 9 and surrounding rural roads. The cottage is well-insulted, with two heat sources a temperature controlled gas stove and a wood stove that keep the cottage warm and comfortable in the coldest weather.

I love buying food directly from local farmers' farm gate sales and area farmers market that are open from May to Thanksgiving each year.

Spot on perfect

Beautiful property conveniently close to all of the natural beauty we were there to explore Modern kitchen, very large Great Room with arched ceilings and fireplace overlooking the bay Clawfoot soaker tub and modern shower rounded out the spa-like comfort of this cottage Host Andrea was a delight to deal with Would stay here again in a heartbeat

Lovely Getaway

A nicely sized two bedroom cottage. Kitchen is fully equipped. The rental comes with access to plenty of extras including bikes and a canoe. The private water access is lovely and it’s within easy walking distance of a semi-private sandy beach and a larger public sandy beach is just a few minutes further (walking). The location is wonderful. We enjoyed a very comfortable stay. The cell reception was good on both Rogers and Bell, a definite plus for the Peninsula.

I love being able to offer our cottage to other travellers who also enjoy being on the water kayaking, cycling the peninsula, or hiking on the Bruce Trail.
