Pleasant stay

This property set up as a nice location for daily trips in to see the Little League World Series. The location was pretty good for that, and the residence itself was very comfortable and pretty much exactly as advertised. Communication is the host was very good.

Awesome time!

We loved having a picnic in the gardens behind the house, mountain pies around the fire pit, and running to the river to swim and kayak. Thank you!

Fantastic place

We were there for the weekend and loved every minute. The house was phenomenal. The hosts who staged the house did a wonderful job. All we really needed to bring was our clothes and sundry items. We like to cook and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The towel warmer was an excellent touch. We enjoyed walking about the property as it was beautiful. We enjoyed the fire pit where we made s'mores. All in all we had a marvelous weekend.

We really enjoyed our stay at this historic property! Plenty of games inside and outdoors were great, you can just lounge and read a book or play bean bag or on a cool evening light the fire pit! The walk to the river would have been excellent if not for the bugs, but it’s’ nature and definitely worth it- just spray bug repellent and your set! Would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

Wonderful stay!

We had the best time staying here. The location is perfect, and the house was clean, comfortable and has that old world charm. Hosts were very communicative and accommodating and answered any and all questions quickly. The river access is easy (just read the book they leave for guests, it answers all your questions). And was stunning. We loved the river and fire pit and while it is on a road that has some speedy traffic, it didn’t bother us one bit. I 100% recommend anyone to stay here!

Farm house

Enjoyed our stay in Jersey Shore home. The house is old, 200 + years and it has been well kept. We were greeted with a nice basket of assorted snacks, which was unexpected. Our host Court checked in a few times just to make sure that we were doing well and to let us know to reach out for anything. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need including assorted teas and a Keurig coffee maker. The living room is cozy and more than plenty of games and books to read. We had a nice walk to the river, there were a lot of bugs on the way so be sure to wear long clothing and bug spray but it is worth it! We will stay there again if in the area. Had dinner at Santino’s one night, food was fairly priced and delicious, you can even order pizza by the slice!

FL to CARLISLE stop off in Jersey Shore

Weekend trip to see family in Jersey Shore. This Historic Farmhouse comes Highly Recommended. It’s Awesome. When you pull in the driveway you can see the beautiful large farm on which this house sits. A circular driveway that gives you easy access. As you walk into the home it was like walking back in time. The home was furnitured well, clean and Bright. The woodwork thru out is magnificent; the walls, floors & stairs. The kitchen was stocked with alll the essentials; coffee pot, dishes, utensils, refrigerator, stove, oven and microwave. The 2 bedrooms upstairs are well decorated. Light & Airy. The Bed was very comfortable. The grounds keeper on the property was so wonderful & helpful, and gave us more history of the farm. We have already recommended this property to friends & family that frequent the Jersey Shore area. Blessings & much Success to owners. Thank You for Sharing Your Home & History.
