We really enjoyed hosting your group. Glad we could accommodate all of you. So happy you were able to enjoy our home and your time in Ruidoso.
We loved the house & had a great time. We wish the city was open so we could have done more but that had nothing to do with the owner. Owner responded quickly & thoroughly, was available for help and questions. House was a good size for us and had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again!

So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. We’d love to have you back when you’re able to enjoy the full Ruidoso experience!
Property is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. We were in town for a baseball tournament with our kids and the home provided plenty of entertainment for our kids after games were completed. Outdoor grilling on the patio was nice and relaxing and evening walks thru the neighborhood were nice. We did have a few initial questions upon our arrival and the property manager was very nice and responsive to any questions we had. Overall this exceeded our expectations. Would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking to relax and keep the kids entertained with video games and board games.

We're so glad our home was a great spot for you and your family to enjoy while playing in the baseball tournament. Glad you took advantage of our amenities (video game machines and outdoor gas grill) to make your trip memorable for your entire family. We hope to host your group again anytime you are back in Ruidoso!
We don't make many plans away, so I was apprehensive about the whole thing. What a pleasant surprise at how easy planning this trip was!
The booking went flawlessly, the property was beautiful, and the owner was awesome. She was very communicative and made sure that we had everything we needed for the stay.

Thomas, it was such a pleasure hosting you and your family at our home. I really hope you were able to take full advantage of your first trip to Ruidoso and will come back again!
Patricia is a very gracious property owner and was immediately available when I had questions, which I shouldn't have had if I had taken a second to look at the instructions literally on the wall beside me. Very comfortable place to stay even in the middle of July and we shared great memories that my family will cherish for years. Thank you!

Justin, it was a pleasure to host you and your family. We are so happy to hear that you had a great time at our home and created some awesome family memories!
BEWARE. The owner is difficult to work with if you have any issues and has an integrity problem. The first morning during breakfast, all of the kitchen outlets tripped the breaker. The breaker was located in the bottom part of the home. This was resolved within a couple of hours after she called her maintenance man to reset the breaker. This part of the home is off-limits to all occupants for unknown reasons.
The odor of natural gas was faintly smelled the first day. By the last night, the odor was so strong we had to relocate. The fire department was called, confirmed the odor opened all the windows, and used their ventilation fans to air out the home. The owner was not easy for the on-scene fire department personnel to deal with as my sister was present for the entire conversation via cell phone. This odor was smelled by myself and at least 8-12 different family members who live in Ruidoso and came over to visit. The owner now is telling me she doesn't believe there was any odor, to begin with.
After numerous emails and text messages and sending proof of the rooms we booked out last night, the owner wants me to sign some paperwork wanting me to say there was no odor to get a refund for the two hotel rooms we stayed in downtown Ruidoso the last night. That would be a lie and ridiculous. She can keep the money we paid for our stay, and I'll eat the money for the hotel rooms. I prefer to warn and inform potential renters as it's not always about the money.
I've stayed at several VRBO's over the years with zero issues. This issue will make me more leary about VRBO, but only due to dealing with terrible owners. Good luck if you rent this property. Feel free to contact me for details.

Communication is always the first step to make the rental process a pleasant experience. We always communicate with our guests before, during and after their stay. We also provide our cell phone number in case our guests need to contact us during their stay.
As soon as we were notified that one of the kitchen outlets had been tripped, we had our maintenance man at the home in less than an hour to reset the breaker. On the last night of this party’s stay, we were woken up late at night by a text message. We were extremely concerned by the allegations being made so WE CALLED the Ruidoso Police Department so they could dispatch the Fire Department to check on the house. The Fire Department arrived on scene within 10 minutes. The Fire Lieutenant called us while on scene and let us know that the situation was under control. According to the Fire Department’s written report, which we later obtained, the smell was "reduced to almost nothing" and it was "safe to stay in the home". The next morning we hired a plumber to inspect our home and when he arrived at our home he did not find evidence of a gas leak or the smell of gas.
Our home in Ruidoso is very special to us. We love spending time here and sharing our home with other families. We are happy to provide you with a copy of the Fire Department’s report regarding this incident. We also hope you will rely on all of our other 5 STAR reviews of our home and give us the opportunity to host your group when you visit Ruidoso.
The house was perfect, clean, very enjoyable and plenty of room for all of us. We checked in and the set-up was spectacular. Nice game room for the kids. Definitely staying here again.

We are a multi-generational family that wants to share our family vacation home with others! We love to come up to the mountains to unwind and relax. Nearly every day we see deer in the neighborhood. Most recently, we have had elk and some wild horses also come by. We also love to go fishing.
Why they chose this property
We wanted to take advantage of the beauty of New Mexico and purchased this home as a vacation get-away. We choose Ruidoso because we can hike, bike ride, ski, fish, shop or just relax.
What makes this property unique
The open living space makes this home perfect for family bonding or a quiet mountain retreat. Centrally located in Ruidoso - convenient to everything!
