My husband, son, and I were in the area for college visits. It was a perfect distance between Ithaca and Binghamton. If one is visiting Cortland, it would be a convenient spot. We had to postpone our visit from the Fall; it was beautiful; however, I am sure that the Fall would be even more glorious. The house was spotless and tastefully decorated. The view of the pond and the sounds of nature were so relaxing. Having coffee outside was delightful. Due to other activities, we didn't get to spend as much time outside as we would have liked. We would definitely recommend it! Thank you for making the check-in process seamless and the stay so pleasant!

Marathon retreat

The property and cabin are in a gorgeous setting- our stay was at the end of October and we had a good view of Dean’s Pond and the Canadian geese settling in at dusk. Completely furnished with everything you need- lots of board games and a ping pong table- dishes, utensils, cookware- Plenty of parking for friends and family. Also very close to town if you need anything, but you’d never know it. Nice and private.

Great gateway

We stayed in the area for a baseball tournament. This was a little hidden gem to relax between games and spend quality time with family and friends. The host thought of everything!

The house is wonderful! Everything works perfectly, nothing is broken, and everything is usable. The only thing I felt was missing was a blender, but besides that, the kitchen has all the utensils you could possibly need. The house is extremely cozy, very spacious, and really designed for those who want to spend quality time with family. The location is perfect — right in the middle of nature, with no neighbors around. We absolutely loved our stay and had so much fun!

Nice spot, great amenities

This property had everything we needed for our family. We toasted s’mores at the campfire, enjoyed plenty of space in the kitchen and living area, and played ping pong upstairs. The bunk beds are amazing! The owners have done a nice job with the property.

Great place, Sunday checkout is too early

Great house - private with a nice pond view and fire pit (no fire wood supplied) it's pricey for the area, though and with a Friday 4pm check-in and Sunday 10am check-out, I feel a bit ripped off - that's really not a full weekend!

Overall nice house. Communication was fine outside of Turo app. On the other hand it was terrible inside the app. Took over a day to receive a response to an in app message and they did not respond in app. Steep hill to get to property. Had to ask for hill to be plowed after receiving snow. Would recommend the hill be taken cared of regularly not just on call. Cold water line froze during stay. Lost a day of planned activities due to waiting for the hill and water pipe to be resolved. Property address (Jason Hill Rd) is not recognized by shipping companies. Host fee is unreasonably high, in my opinion.

Wooded Wonderland

We had a fantastic stay Thanksgiving week, 2024. My family of 5 really enjoyed our stay. The property is secluded and has gorgeous views--even in the winter! My kids were delighted with the little games tucked away under the TV. My husband and I loved the thoughtfulness of amenities like the heated towel rack, really cool bunk beds and fun ping pong table. The kids were overjoyed to wake up Thanksgiving morning to a fresh snowfall! We made a snowman and even took our Christmas card photo! We will definitely be back--the location is perfect for Greek Peak, or if you are like us and visiting family but just need a little more space this is a great little hideaway. Thank you to the owners.
