Meet the neighbours, witness the fishermen return and clean their catch on the town dock, drive the coast, hike the trails, visit Edwin Bishop renown artist right across from our place. Not only do we provide accommodations, but we can also create an itinerary for your stay, complete with tours, fishing and anything else you may want to include. Enjoyed our stay here a lot. The kitchen was stocked with equipment, the rooms were comfortable, the living area was great and the view out the window was lovely. There aren’t a lot or restaurants nearby, but we were out touring so found them there. If you aren’t looking to tour, be sure to bring groceries or stop along the way.

Easy communication. Clean and comfortable Great views from porches. Convenience store minutes away. Great butcher shop in Hearts Content. Easy to do day trips @ Avalon although we were limited by the wild fires.

Location is not near Trinity but opposite side of Trinity bay. Owner agreed to fully refund if VRBO would refund her their portion but did not follow through and ignored subsequent messages from me and VRBO. VRBO confirmed they would refund their portion. We lost 294.40 for travel Sept 29-Oct 1 which was equal to one night stay. She refunded initially one night immediately but never followed through on her word.

This review is a blatant lie! I agreed to refund the entire amount. It’s up to VRBO to send the funds. You received all of your money back and did not lose a night. Let me point out that I could have cancelled this and charged you 50% of your booking costs as per the booking rules for my place. I decided not to as I understood you had gone pat your desired destination. I expect this review to be removed immediately.

Homey but not homely

We stayed at Harry's Place for two months and cried when we left. It is like staying with Nan and Grandpa if they had updated appliances. It feels warm, secure, and comforting. The property managers live right next door and are very helpful but not obtrusive. We enjoyed the deck with the view of the harbor and mountains in the distance, but what was best was the view from the world's most comfortable couch where you could look out at the ever-changing weather. The decor is homey with vintage touches of Danish Modern. The kitchen is well-equipped. Stay for a week, stay for a month. Bake a cake in the bundt pan I left for you; Nan and Harry want you to be happy.
