House was only a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and was supplied with tons of beach chairs and everything you would need for the beach. House was very comfortable and located in a great neighborhood.
The house was more spacious than I anticipated. Kitchen had everything needed to cook at the house. We love that location. We had 8 people, and enough parking for the cars.
House was perfect. Good price, great location, fabulous amenities (bikes, beach chairs, cooler)!
Loved the place, owner thought of everything. Price was reasonable. Great location, walkable to the beach, but we did take advantage of the season beach parking pass. We may go up to visit another beach before the end of the summer. Would rent again!
Pictures didn’t do the property justice. House was bigger than we thought with lots of room. Everything was clean and the house was well stocked. Our boys had a blast here and the cherry on top was being able to bring our golden retriever with us. Great neighborhood and an easy walk to the beach. Will look for this specific house to book for future vacations no doubt.
This property provided the perfect space for my grown family to enjoy each other’s company and the beach. It was clean, pleasingly decorated and well provisioned. The layout of the house allowed us to be together but also have our space. The house is within walking distance of the beach so that each person could enjoy the sand and surf when they wanted. It was great.
Property was up to date with all ammenities needed for a wonderful family vacation. Prime location; walking distance to Scarborough, 15 min. to Block Island ferry, 30 min. to Newport
Home was just as presented. AC worked great. Location was excellent. Fire pit & beach gear a plus
Everything was easy about this house. Owner very responsive and location was perfect!! We loved our stay. Our 3rd year in RI and this home was the best!!
This beach house was more than we could have imagined...clean, neat, close to everything, quiet neighborhood. My family and I loved our stay. The neighborhood was perfect for the kids to ride their bikes. Thank you for sharing your house with us.
We truly enjoyed our stay at Eastward Look. The size of the home was perfect for our family giving us the space we needed. We appreciated how clean the home was. It was also awesome to be able to walk to Scarborough beach. We would definitely recommend staying there!
We were in Rhode Island for my daughter's wedding and David's house was perfect for our group of 7. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy the week.
This home has nice curb appeal and a wide driveway that could hold many cars. The neighborhood is quiet and my kids loved being able to ride their bikes around. The inside of the house is well appointed and comfortable. Our favorite part was the outdoor shower. What a treat! Would recommend to anyone and would stay again!

Quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Scarborough Beach
House was very comfortable and there was plenty of room for relaxing and sleeping. 2 1/2 baths made sure nobody was waiting for facilities. The outdoor shower is a necessity while on vacation and this one offered plenty of privacy and hot water. The walk to the beach each day to watch the sunrise was wonderful. We had a parking pass and would haul all the stuff down for the day and park in the lot until we loaded the car at end of day. Walk to the house was easy enough for those that wanted to go home for lunch. Even have a hose at front steps so you can rinse your feet.
There is a small trail at back of neighborhood that brings you to other neighborhoods behind if you want to go to a different part of the beach.
There is plenty to do right in the area and a grocery store and shopping center is only 3 miles away while there is a Dunkin Donuts and Cumberland Farms within walking distance. We had a fantastic meal at Iggy's and kids loved the ice cream at Brickley's. Took a day and went into Newport which is only like 30 minutes away. We also had dinner one evening at Jim's Dock (BYOB) which is near East Matunuck Beach.
If you somehow get tired of the beach, you can go in the salt pond to float or rent kayaks/ paddle boards nearby. Plenty of fishing, clamming and crabbing available too.
Owner was a pleasure to deal with and is very quick to respond to any questions. You can tell that they care and will continue to upgrade the house.

A very comfortable house in a great location!
We just spent a week at the Melville house and it was great. You are within walking distance Scarborough beach and within a half hour drive to Newport and Providence. The house had great space, we brought our large dog with us and there was still plenty of room for him and the 6 of us! Plus we were able to store everything out of the way so the dog didn't get into anything. The beds are a little different; they don't have box springs but they were still comfortable. It was also a little odd have only a half bath with the master but it was easy enough to shower in the other bathroom on the 2nd floor or the first floor bathroom. It was really convenient to be able to leave the beach toys and towels in the garage. Dave was super easy to work with in making reservations. Thanks for everything we had a great time and look forward to visiting the area again soon!
