Spacious 4 bedroom 2 full bath home with central air in a great family neighborhood, perfect for long walks or kids’ biking. Sleeps total of 10, 8 adults max. Downtown Newport is minutes away. Fully fenced private backyard with inground Gunite POOL, two patio sets/lounge chairs and gas grill, perfect for backyard barbecues and casual entertaining.
Plenty of space for extended family or two families, with king bed master, two twin bedrooms, queen bedroom on lower level, 5th sleeping area with daybed/pull out twin trundle. Living room and large eat in kitchen on main level, oversized family room with small office area on lower level. Wifi throughout. Smart TV.
BlueHaven has a very desirable location, just a quick walk across the neighborhood to 1st/Easton's Beach, a great family beach with extensive amenities. Easy bike ride to 2nd/Sachuest Beach, or Third Beach. For the kids, there is a wonderful ballfield area and playground just diagonally across the street and through the hedges. Many local restaurants and other amenities are within easy walking distance: Tickets Sports' Bar, Aquidneck Pizza, Flo's Clamshack, The Atlantic Grill, Clementines ice cream, Diego's mexican restaurant, surf-bike shops, a convenience store, a liquor store and more. The new Atlantic Resort wedding venue is located just across the ballfield, so mere minutes walk away. Just unpack and enjoy your week!

Property was great for our families and dog. We spent most days in or around the pool, and reading and playing games in the dining area. Having no tv on the main living level proved to be nice. The local golf courses were close and challenging.

Great Place to Stay

This is the second year we’ve stayed at this great house for our family get away. The house is located close to the beach and quick drive into town. It’s always super clean and the accommodations for our family of 5 and 2 dogs can’t be beat. And the pool is an added perk! Sara and Lance are fantastic hosts!

The house is deceiving from the front. Very large and spacious inside. The pool was great and the large yard was great for our two dogs. House was located very close to many different attractions too. Overall, my family and I had a great week in Newport.

Great place in Middletown

Had a great stay here in early August. Home was perfect for our needs, and the pool was a great feature. Communication with the hosts was seamless and easy. Only recommendation would be for a few extra yellow trashbags to be left for future guests (Middletown trash bagging policy).

Had a wonderful time , location is great . Beach close and a short drive to new port. One complaint . Entertainment , tv reception was not good to put it mildly. After a long day it would of been nice to watch more of selection of tv shows as well as better reception.

Our guests are always very pleased to have a private inground pool and walk to beach/restaurants location in the Newport area; it is quite a rarity! So sorry to hear that you had some trouble operating the TV’s at the house during your week long stay. We would have been very happy to have stopped over to show you how to use the remotes, or to have our provider Cox send a refresh signal to the house in case things were affected by the big storms that came through. You should know that we specifically pay for an upgraded channel package that includes over 90 channels, including ESPN. We hope you will consider booking with us again next summer.

Girls Weekend @ BlueHaven was a success.

We celebrated our annual Girls Weekend in Newport this year. BlueHaven was a perfect location (travelers from CT, NH, & MA) for the 6 of us to spend quality time together! Daily walks to 1st Beach and the Cliff Walk each AM, $8 Uber rides to Downtown Newport for dinner, a simple 8 minute drive to Newport Vineyards...just to name a few activities. The house was updated, clean and spacious with an excellent backyard for grilling, chatting on a lounge chair in the sun and taking a dip in the pool. A big thank you to our hosts who respected our privacy and also were easily available if we needed them. We hope to be back next year!

May 2019 stay!

We had an amazing stay! With 10 girls under one roof it can be hard to manage space, especially bathroom space! The bathroom upstairs has double sinks OUTSIDE of the toilet/shower room which made it so easy to accommodate everyone's needs! The place was spotless, has every kitchen appliance you could need! Cozy and quaint design, a very relaxing feel! All house directions were easy to follow and there was a binder available to access with any questions, as well as the owners being just a text/phone call away! The location was perfect! 5 minutes to downtown Newport! It was great! The owners made it so easy to contact them, before and after the stay, which makes everything easier! Highly recommend and would stay again!

Nikki, We are very happy that you all had such a fabulous stay at BlueHaven. You are the first group of girls to experience our brand new remodeled and expanded main bath. We are very proud of the unique design with two separate rooms: one for shower/toilet and one for the 5' wide double granite top vanity that can accommodate 2-3 folks at a time!! It is so nice to hear that the new bathroom layout worked so well, in reality, as I had envisioned when designing it. We would love to hear from you again should your plans bring you back to the Newport area in the future. The house is even better from mid May until end September when the inground pool is open.

This house offers a fantastic Newport experience. My family and I were in town for a weekend and the house offered other family members a central location to check in with each other and figure out plans. Sara and Lance were very easy to communicate with and were responsive whenever questions arose! Apparently, Sara and Lance recently renovated the kitchen. It was gorgeous and very spacious open concept into the dining area. We would happily return some day!

Enjoyed this property as a group of 6 adults and 1 infant - plenty of space for all! Some baby equipment provided. The location can’t be beat, walkable to many restaurants, beaches and the Cliff walk. Short drive to a grocery store and to downtown Newport. Interior and exterior were very clean, we loved having the privacy of a completely fenced in backyard and pool!! Kitchen was recently updated and is beautiful. Owner is very friendly, stopped by to welcome us, provided us with all details we would need for our stay. Would highly recommend booking house for your Rhode Island vacation. I look forward to coming back in the future.

Family time together

My college age kids and my husband and I hadn't spent family time together in almost a year and so this was time overdue. The location, with walking distance to the beach and with the pool in the backyard, made for lots of down time together. A short drive to Newport made for easy dinners out and fun shopping. Loved it!

The air conditioning in the basement was very loud and the downstairs bathroom needs to be updated. It is dark and hard to see. The pool was a great addition and helped to cool everyone from the walk back from the beach. Great vacation overall.

Excellent home away from home!

This is a wonderful rental and Sara and Lance are excellent and gracious hosts. The kitchen is well appointed and the bedrooms are all very comfortable. The downstairs is a great family hang out area. The pool is fantastic and the house comes with a lot of pool and beach equipment and toys. All in all, we loved our stay and highly endorse Sara and Lance!

We have been in love with the Newport area for 20 years. My husband and I met windsurfing, and spent many a windy day on the shores of 3rd beach. We were engaged in Newport, and have spent all of our anniversaries there. Our dream was to eventually retire to this wonderful beaching and boating community, which we have now done and love it. We enjoy the charm of Newport, with its wide sandy beaches, and the friendly community.

What makes this property unique

Spacious home with amazing private inground Pool, large eat in remodeled kitchen, Central Air! A great spot to relax in the spring season and fall season when the beach is a little too windy and brisk! Our backyard is nice and sheltered. We open the pool early May and don't close it until early October.
