Can't wait to come back. Amazing space with Al the accomodations of home. If you want peace and relaxation this is the place. Amazing hosts can't wait to come back.
I wanted to quickly go up and visit my friend who lives in Port Loring. I booked this wonderful cabin last minute and I am so glad I did. Clean, neat and cheerful it is exactly as listed. All amenities you need are there! Beautiful location. I'd highly recommend and will book it again!
This place was amazing!. There was so much to do between swimming, fishing, kayaking, and even a farmers market. Everytime we had a question they were quick to respond, and had provided us with every essential we would need to have a great week at the cottage!. Thank yiu for a great time!
Our hosts were very communicable and friendly. The cottage was a perfect little 3 day getaway from our routine. Caught pike and small mouth bass right off the dock. Rock bass and sunfish too. Kayaks were a great bonus as we were able to fish the lake from them as well. No complaints whatsoever. We even saw a bull moose about 30 minutes from the cottage. Very peaceful and quiet with plenty of things to fill up your day. Definitely would go back.

We recently stayed in this cottage. We like it very much.Very clean and peaceful place.Owner though to include everything that you may need to make your staying amazing: including soap, ice maker, BBQ tools, fishing equipment, blankets, comforts, kitchen rolls, toilet paper, detergent, games for the whole family, etc.Kayaks are in very good shape, views from kayaks are incredible. Kayaking is extremely recommended for the whole family.Beds were confortable too.One quickly reminder: there is not a microwave, radio or TV. Not ESSO, Pioneer or Shell gas station near the cottage. Fill tank if you plan to do short trips with the family. Many mosquitos and other insects in the area, do not forget bring mosquito repellent. We definitely want to come back.
Our family of 6 stayed for one week and we had a great time. The cottage is new, clean and as advertised.
We found it slightly small for our family (4 kids) but we did well and were outside until dark most days anyways. The lake was warm for swimming and the small cove that it is located in made the conditions pleasant even if it was more rough on the open lake area.
The kids caught fish from the dock as well as from kayaks. Lots of wild life to explore on the shoreline also. Beautiful mornings drinking your coffee on the dock.
We over packed but the area is quiet secluded so plan to bring everything you need. The cottage is well stocked for cooking, games (inside and out) and water activities.
There is a small market 5 min away that has most basics that you may have forgot as well as a gas station if needed located next to the market.
Would defiantly recommend staying to others.
This cottage was absolutely perfect! My husband and I stayed with our friends and their two children for a week. The cottage came fully equipped and the property had lots of outdoor games/tandem kayaks that kept both adult and child entertained for hours on end. The spot is absolutely gorgeous, set in a little cove on Hampel Lake, with all the space and privacy you could want. The cottage was super clean and as I mentioned so well outfitted with all the things you could possible need for a cottage vacation. ( I unnecessarily overpacked) The private dock was a hit with the kids and kept them occupied for the entire week, and was an absolute slice of heaven when enjoying a morning cup of coffee. We had beautiful weather so never had the opportunity to utilize the woodstove but on cool nights it would be perfect to cozy up in front of to enjoy the view of the lake. We had the opportunity to hit the local farmers market in Arnstein which was one of the best small town markets I’ve ever been to and the local community was so welcoming. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to enjoy it again ourselves in the future! Thanks Pascal and Sarah! You have a beautiful spot!
Danielle was a good guest, we would definitely host for her again.
