The property is very nice and clean. It is a little hard to locate for anyone not familiar with the area and the check-in process could be improved.

Nice Location
Handy restaurant across the parking lot but with the windows closed there is definitely a motor oil/engine odor that would be unacceptable if the windows could not be opened.

A nice size place but no nightstands, lights near
Bed or coffee table in the living room. Very barely stocked necessities in the kitchen. So it’s sparse and no closets or a place to hang clothes.

Hi Gloria, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:There are nightstands in every bedroom to provide guests with convenience and comfort. One of the bedrooms, the loft area, is the only space without a closet, but there is hanging space available in the other rooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary items, including seasonings and condiments for guests to use during their stay. Thanks for taking the time to leave your review!
This was a nice place on the inside, however the odor in the place was unbearable, the air conditioning was unchangeable and unfortunately we only stayed one night. I would like to think that you would take that into consideration as we spent a lot of money on a place that was used for about 12 hours. Again, the smell was hard to tolerate and it was too warm to sleep! Also hopefully you'll address this for future guests. I forgot to mention that the doc was very unsteady and difficult to use. Privacy issues on the front door.

Hi James, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:The property was completely renovated within the last year, and there have been no prior reports of any odors. We’re sorry this affected your stay. The thermostat is preset to 68 degrees for comfort, and we are happy to adjust it upon request. We reached out during your stay and were informed that you had changed plans. The dock is a high-quality floating dock, which can feel a bit unsteady but is considered one of the best options available. We appreciate your feedback about privacy on the front door, and have since added curtains to address this concern for future guests.Thank you again for providing such valuable feedback.

Disappointing Stay - Uncomfortable and Unpleasant Conditions
We were disappointed with our stay at this property. The unit was unbearably warm, and there was no fan in the bedrooms or thermostat to regulate the temperature. Additionally, there was no curtain on the front door, leaving us feeling exposed as people could easily look in.The dock seemed unsteady and unsafe so we decided the children shouldn't use it so they weren't able to swim. What turned us off the most was the smell inside the unit, this was unacceptable, forcing us to bring our own candles and a fan just to make it through the day/night.We only stayed one night due to these issues, and we would not recommend this property to others. We hope the owners address these problems for future guests.
