Just what we were looking for! A log cabin with access to lake for fishing and snowmobiles. A comfy, cozy home to come back to and hang out in front of the fire.
Very cozy cabin! Perfect location, close to town, ski mountains and snowmobile trails! The owner was very kind and accommodating and gave us some great info on the town and places to go and see!
House was comfortable. Not enough towels were not available found in the dryer. Kitchen wasn’t stocked with pans only four chairs which was enough for us but

Good location and house is pretty basic
I’d rate this as “middling”- the good: comfortable beds with plenty of blankets and pillows. Wood available for fires, nice fire pit and wood stove. Easy access to Greenville and surrounding area. The mediocre: washing machine didn’t work (stuck on rinse and spin cycle so you have a load of dripping wet clothes full of detergent), oven was pretty dirty, no curtains on windows, staircase to upstairs room borders on dangerous, esp at night, upstairs bathroom has little privacy, furniture is barely serviceable in great room.

From the owner: "I appreciate your feedback and am glad you enjoyed the comfortable beds, cozy fire pit, and convenient location. Since your stay, both the washer and dryer have been replaced, and new living room furniture has been added for improved comfort. I take pride in keeping the cabin well cared for and unique among Greenville stays, and I’m happy to hear you still found it a good base for exploring the area."
Very nice log home with great wood stoves and sizable common area for dining and lounging. Beds were very comfortable and host was very friendly and communicative when needed.
The cabin was niceIt was not a walk to lake needed to driveThe kitchen sink was leaking The stairs to the upstairs were not kid friendly The lawn was not mowed There were cigarette buts and rusty nails in the outdoor seating area The kitchen was missing several key dishes The cabin was clean and spacious
This cabin is the perfect location if you want quiet, restful, rustic, roomy, restful, close to the lake, in nature, did I mention restful, perfect location. Craig is a stellar host. Easy to communicate with. Very accommodating and generous. Will 100% rent again. Would recommend 5/5!
The cabin is beautiful, lin a great location and very spacious!! The firepit in the backyard and all the little touches made it feel very homey! We inadvertently left some clothing items there. The owner was very responsi e to my messages and arranged to have them sent back to us which we deeply appreciate! We will definitely be back!!

Perfect Log Cabin Getaway!
Reserved the beautiful cabin for an annual snowmobile trip with friends. Although old man winter took a vacation this winter and there was no riding that was done, we had a great time relaxing in this cabin. The large family room with more than enough comfortable seating for everyone to relax in, the large TV to enjoy movies on, while the fireplace was roaring the whole time, due to a well stacked wood supply, keeping us all warm. The kitchen is large and well equipment as we were not short on anything that we needed to prepare and enjoy the many meals that we made during our stay. The bedrooms were nice with comfortable beds which made for a great night's sleep. The bathroom on the second floor is unique but adds to the charm of the cabin. There was plenty of parking onsite and the ability to use the garage to store our snowmobiles was a huge plus and would have been even better if we were able to ride and could store them out of the weather overnight. The house is a short drive from downtown shops, gas, restaurant and grocery store. The owner Craig was always super helpful and responsive. Prior to the trip he took the time to take a call and give us an overview of the area, points of interest, and where all the amenities are so that we knew what to expect before we got there. I highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a great place to get away and enjoy some of the most beautiful parts of Maine and Moosehead Lake! The one thing I will point out is to anyone renting this cabin in the winter, do not drive down "Ridge Parkway" to access the house. They do not plow the road all the way down to this cabin and you'll be left backing out to the main road. If the road ices over, you could find yourself in a very tough situation. Instead drive down "Highland Ave" which is plowed all the way down to the lake and you'll find easy access to the cabin.
