Check-in process was easy. We were in communication with the owners and they provided excellent information about the area.House was well-equipped,central air, plenty of seating areas, lovely deck, cozy porch, and comfortable sleeping arrangements.Wi-Fi access was fine- we all were able to use our devices.Close proximity to excellent beaches, shopping, and fun activities for kids.

100% perfect

This house was everything we’d hoped and more. It was clean, cozy, had all the comforts of home, nice updated kitchen, plenty of family entertainment if we wanted to stay in, but a perfect location for getting out to the beach, restaurants, and exploring the cape. The owner is very kind, accommodating, and helpful. Highly recommended.

Lovely Beach Getaway

Perfect home for a beach vacation! Nice short walk to local beach and nearby restaurant. Kids loved having their own space. We had great weather for grilling on the back deck. The grill worked out well on days we just wanted to relax at the house. Enjoyed many of the games & puzzles avaliable. The space was comfortable, kitchen well equipped and the outdoor shower made rinsing the sand off so easy! The host has excellent communication and is happy to help/answer any questions. Looking forward to future stays!

Cottage by the Sea

We had a lovely stay. The house is very nice and well taken care of. No need to bring anything as the house is completely furnished and all supplies provided-kitchen is stocked with dishes. Soap. Garbage bags etc. We would rent again. Close to all amenities and most importantly so close to the beach. Owners are accommodating And truly want you to have a great stay.

Grill needs to be thrown in the trash

I only rent homes that i can cook at. I have food allergies and rent homes instead of hotels just so I am able to eat on my vacations. I also only rent homes with grills. A grill was listed on the property. The home owner was very friendly and when I asked about the covered grill in front of us he said ...Oh you are going to use the grill? I said definately. He then told me how they cleaned the grill with Paint stirring sticks and not to use a wire brush to clean it. He did not offer me to see the grill. When i opened the grill it was completely unusable the grill was disintegrating. the only thing holding it together was the burnt food and grease. I have pictures to back this up. Also the toaster oven was filled with burnt on food and unusable burnt on tray. The freezer smelled so bad of fish i couldnt use the bagged ice I bough it was also rusty. Overall the house needed updating. It was full of very old and very worn furniture and rugs and some of the kitchen utensils were covered in rust. John was very friendly and with very little money the house could be alot better. I left a day early because of being so hungry for cooked food and uncomfortable. I hate giving a bad review. But I asked about the grill and he covered it back up not showing it to me. He knew it was completely unusable and that wasn't honest. I had to throw away alot of food I had bought to grill and it cost me alot more money to buy food that I could eat. It made for a bad vacation. I tried to over look the fact that I couldn't eat and be comfortable.

Very relaxing stay. Excellent location right near (5 minutes) the beach and The Skipper restaurant. Acommodating hosts. The house has everything you'd want. Beach chairs etc. Games and books for rainy days. Full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, grill and deck.

Family Gathering

The house is well situated close to beach, grecery stores, and restaurants. We walked to the beach in the mornings and did sightseeing in the afternoon and then came home to cook dinner in the well suppled kitchen and there were enough table and chairs for us all.

Quiet and comfortable home.

This house is located in a very quiet neighborhood, with little to no road traffic. The home has everything you might need for a short or long stay. The beds (sleeps 8) are extremely comfortable, as are the sofa and chairs in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped for making snacks or complete dinners. And, let's not forget the beautiful, large deck out back. The location in Yarmouth, is perfect for day trips to either end of the Cape. And there are supermarkets and bakeries very close at hand. All in all, a really great place to spend ones R&R. We'd definitely rent this place again!

Classic Cape experience

We wanted a cozy and classic Cape Cod experience, and we got just that. John was fantastic at communicating and welcoming us. We loved the house and it’s vintage homey charms. The board games and comfortable living room came in handy on the chilly evenings. We walked to the beach several times and spent a few hours sunbathing in the warm weather. The location is great and it’s quiet! Such a great experience!

Great month at the cape

Great location, the beach is a five minute walk away. It's a long continuous sandy beach we enjoyed walks on. The front and back yards are quite nice to spend time in. Overall a great stay.

Great location

Great location and price! The property is large enough to accommodate two families and is well maintained. It's a very short walk to the beach, located in a beautiful neighborhood and very close to restaurants and other amenities, which isn't always the case at other locations on the Cape. John was very helpful and took the time to show us around the house and how to access the beach when we arrived. We would stay here again. Brett and Cheryl

Wonderful location, great Cape House!

Home is clearly well loved and the owners truly care if their guests are enjoying their stay. Location is perfect, beaches were lovely, everything you'd need is close by. Had a wonderful mini vacation!

Great centrally located house

I stayed with my family of four for the weekend and had more than enough room. There is a bedroom with a king size bed and another with a queen on the first floor and the second floor has four beds. Perfect set up for two families with a total of up to 4 kids. We had a beautiful day Saturday and made use of the spacious backyard deck. If you stay, you must go to Island Bakery, which is a mile away, it has the best cinnamon buns I ever had.

Burch Road getaway

Hi Barry, We were quite pleased with the house. It was clean and comfortable, well kept, and homey. It was certainly roomy enough for the four of us. The neighborhood is quiet, feels very safe, and the other properties are all well kept. Grocery stores are not too far away and we found that South Yarmouth has some interesting events. We went to a pumpkin sale at a local church. We all loved being a 5 minute walk from the beach. We collected shells for my sister-in-law who can use them for projects in the art classes she teaches. I enjoyed preparing meals in the kitchen, which had everything we needed. There is even a first aid kit (which we did not need). There are plenty of comfortable chairs in the living room where we sat, talked, planned our days, or watched TV. (but we were not inclined to spend much time watching TV). I liked the "Cape Cod" decor of the house. The theme of the decorations in the bathroom is clever. We recommend the house on Burch Road and we would be happy to return again.

Beautiful location and perfect for families!

We really enjoyed our time here! The house is perfect for families - great outdoor space, many board games for rainy days, and an outdoor shower (my personal favorite!) The owner is very accommodating and walked us through the house so we knew exactly where to find everything and what to do around the area. He was very accessible for questions or anything we needed. We stayed late September while we were attending a wedding down the street, so we could easily walk to beaches (less than 5 minute walk). We would definitely stay here again :)

Cape Cod family vacation home

My children and grandchildren had a great time at this lovely home on the Cape. Located on a quiet street, it was a short walk to the beach. The private yard had a good size deck, large picnic table, and ample room for lots of lawn games. The house had a fully equipped kitchen and large dining table, big enough for the entire family to share their meals. Bathrooms were updated and there was an outdoor shower which was perfect for the kids. Central air conditioning provided a cool, humid free sleeping environment. This house had all you needed for a perfect Cape Cod vacation.

My wife and I both grew up on the Cape. We have family that live on the Cape. We have a home, near buy this rental, on Wilfin road. I enjoy power walks on the beach. I usually greet my guests when they arrive giving them a tour of the house.

Why they chose this property

We wanted a Cape house in a quite neighborhood with a nice yard that was walking distance to the ocean beach. From our house it is 5 minute walk to the ocean beach. When you arrive there is a stretch of beach over a mile that you can walk on.

What makes this property unique

Our tenants like our big deck in the quiet and private back yard. We have heard the ocean waves in our back yard.
An enclosed breezeway to relax that has entrances to the front and back decks. Children like the upstairs because they have their own space that includes a large bedroom, half bath and a room with at TV and bed.
