High tide provides a lovely natural swimming area and lots of fun beach-exploring is possible. Even though you are sharing the property with the owners there is plenty of space and privacy.

Soak up the scenery from your private deck, sipping on your favourite drink, enjoying the wildlife, spectacular views and sunsets. Leave feeling rejuvenated & refreshed!

Although Powell River is on the mainland, it will require a couple of ferry rides (Horseshoe Bay to Langdale and Earl's Cove to Saltery Bay) to get to it because it is not directly linked with the rest of the provincial road network.

No whales but tremendous views of water and Mountains

Spent a great week discovering the Powell River area and the myriad hikes available - from the easy to challenging. Wonderful wildlife viewing in some locations and quiet all around! Would certainly like to come back and spend more time in the area, especially the Desolation Sound area!
