This place was amazing! The property itself is beautiful, the host was very accommodating and the house was great too! We enjoyed walking down to the peaceful creek, morning coffee on the back porch and watching the fireflies at night. Overall, a great place to stay and we'll definitely visit again!

Excellent Mountain Cabin

Superb cabin in a beautiful area near Blue Ridge and the Cohutta Wildnerness. Well appointed high ceiling and spacious feel with two equally sized bedrooms with wonderful porch overlooking the forest and pastures. Kevin is an excellent host and owns the Mountainside Cafe next door. Excellent food and full of useful groceries. Highly recommended.

Cozy little cabin

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was so clean, neat, and simply wonderful! The porch was amazing to sit out on and just listen to nature. Kevin texted us to give us more precise directions due to the driveway being kind of hidden. Very nice quiet area! Would love to stay here again!

One of our favorite spots

We love this spot. So convenient to the little backroads of the Big Frog Loop in the Cohutta Wilderness area. We love playing on our dual sport bikes. The cabin is also right behind a market that is a combo restaurant and general store. They also have the best smash burgers!

Awesome Cottage!

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage for Thanksgiving! The kids had more than enough room to explore outside and play! We spent all the evenings on the back porch by the fireplace! The inside is beautiful & cozy! Kevin has everything you would need at the Mountainside Market and was so convenient to walk over to get bfast sandwiches & then smash burgers for dinner! We will definitely be back!!!

Your place was amazing. Relaxing and peaceful. Everything you need plus more. Beds were so comfy. Back porch is a bonus for relaxing and quietness. The Market is right next door. Awesome smashburgers and sandwiches. They also have breakfast food too if you do not want to get out and drive anywhere.

We wanted a spacious cabin in the woods with beautiful scenery, quiet and nature We also wanted to be able to do some cooking and not go out for dinner every night This cabin and promises met all our requirements and Kevin the host was remarkable The store and restaurant he runs next-door makes it even more convenient The food that he serves there is delicious. Try the eggplant and the portobello mushroom sandwich.

A PERFECT Modern yet Rustic Retreat!

We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay and found the cottage to be just right! We took advantage of the wonderful fireplace on the back deck, the little country store stocked with all kinds of yummy things including breakfast biscuits, and a stroll out behind the cottage to visit with a few chickens and two of the cutest pigs! The host was available for anything we needed and made sure our stay was perfect! The property is close to Blue Ridge, GA in one direction and close to McCaysville in the opposite direction. We easily enjoyed hiking in both areas but returned each evening to the peaceful country setting of this cottage.

What a wonderful place!

We were looking for a cabin close to the Big Frog Loop in the Cohutta Wilderness Area. This one looked great and was only four miles east of the loop. Perfect home base for exploring the area. We got here and were just blown away. The cabin is beautiful and has a fantastic floor plan with two bedroom suites and a common living area. It’s very nicely furnished, decorated, and exceptionally clean. Lots of little extras are included. The cabin is conveniently located near Mountainside Market, where you can pick up most anything you need - plus there’s a grill open on weekends with really good smashburgers! Kevin (owner/manager) was the perfect host. He loves the property and the market, and it is apparent throughout. This was our first stay here, but it won’t be our last!
