Perfect weekend getaway!

This home was the perfect rental for my family and I! It was equipped with everything that we could need. It was clean and a short cart ride to North Beach. The backyard was perfect for chillin and grillin. We’d absolutely stay here again.

Great place close to the beach

As listed - close walk to the beach with nice neighbors. The house is comfortable. The baby gates for the stairs are great when traveling with small kids.

Great house very clean and nicely decorated. We appreciated the puzzles for rainy afternoons. Location was excellent close to beach. The beach was very kid friendly nice sand and small waves they learned to boogie board. Dolphins every morning cruising north. The house is at the end of the cul-de-sac so kids could ride bikes safely on street. We had extra parking so we rented a golf cart so we could get around the island for sightseeing. Stingrays was fabulous for crab boil dinner. We had a great time Highly Recommend this home!

Tybee

Bulldawg Beach Bunker was a perfect fit for our group to stay on Tybee Island. The location was very quiet as it backs up to a marshy area. The fenced in yard was so helpful for our small doggies to have time outside without having to walk them every time. Everything was very clean, there were plenty of towels and the water had great pressure and was hot! The beach, ice cream shop, a couple of restaurants, a couple of shops and the park and library are all within 4 blocks! Great location for an easy breezy beach stay.

Great stay

Stayed during tropical storm Debbie, property well managed clean stocked well. Communication with manager above standards. Problems were dealt with very timely. The only problem was a small leak probably due to drain but technician was out within 3 hours and solved issue. Great neighborhood and stay.

Quiet neighborhood

We had a great time in Tybee! The house suited all of needs. It’s not a super close walk to the beach if you have a lot to take with you. Fortunately we are in a phase of life with our kids that we didn’t need much. But might be a bit far for a family with young kids. The neighborhood was quiet and the back yard was lovely with a fire pit and grille. We would stay there again!

Good with some concerns

The property is as advertised. We did have a few issues. The smoke alarm in the kitchen went off EVERY time there was the slightest bit of heat in the kitchen. The toaster actually set it off!! The stairs have a turn at the top and there is no hand rail. I have a mobility issue and without that short piece of rail it was very unsafe. Two soap pads for the dishwasher for a week was insufficient. The area was lovely as was the back yard.

Inconvenient Arrival After Dark

We arrived after dark and had to stop at a property management office to pick up instructions for our check in. The printed directions were not good and printing seems irresponsible and unnecessary. Please print a map if you insist on printing everything. The packet included a printed parking pass which could have been left at the property. The first floor smelled like pet urine. I sent a couple messages to the property manager to ensure our pet wasn't blamed for it. I received a "received" message. There is no shampoo or conditioner in the bathrooms, so be sure to bring your own. The property is nice otherwise. The yard is lovely. The kitchen was well equipped. The furniture is comfortable. The location is okay if you're willing to walk at least 10 minutes to get anywhere.

Good location, beautiful townhome.

My family and I enjoyed the property. There were a few things that would have made our stay a better like adding a non slip backing to all rugs, a dryer that actually dried your clothes or towels (I believe the element was out), a couple boxes of Kleenex, non slip tub mats for bottom of tubs, a curtain for sliding glass doors leading to deck (the afternoon sun was a bit much) & a hand rail that went all the way to the top of the steep stairs. Also we had to wash every dish we used before we could use them as they were dirty with food baked on them & crusty coffee cups. Other than all of that we did still enjoy our stay. The beds were comfy, plenty of bedding, towels & pillows. The couch was super comfy and island in kitchen was nice. Would stay again without my elderly parents as the stairs were a bit steep for my mom & rugs on main floor were a bit dangerous for all of us, but younger families with no health restrictions would definitely enjoy this place. It was in a nice location & quiet neighborhood. I also want to mention they did leave a nice little box with dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, 2 laundry pods, a dish sponge and a roll of paper towels which was nice.
