Really enjoyed the stay was perfect for my family house was very clean unfortunately the back yard needs attention. We came to visit our two children who board at Canberra Grammar it was my grandsons birthday and so convenient for us. Thankyou

Canberra getaway

This propery was very disappointing. We arrived to see a house in very poor condition- paint falling off eves and roof of verandah, cobwebs everywhere on outside of house, very long grass in front and back yard. So overall not a good impression initially. It took 15 minutes to open front door- 2 different locks but 4 different keys given. It was very hot weather, and website said there were fans in each of 3 bedrooms but no fans to be found. Texted owner who came with 2 fans only. We told the owner there was only 3 forks in kitchen- their reply was someone must have taken them. This house sleeps 6, but only 4 chairs for kitchen table. The towels were, I think clean, but shabby and did not smell very fresh. The shower was in a spa bath so the bathroom floor was very wet after showering. There was lots of dust on the floor- particularly in main bedroom. Kitchen was poorly set up, and felt grubby. We turned on the dishwasher- it did not go. Texted owner who texted back with suggestions we had already tried, I texted again but got no reply. We tried again- it started but turned on and off for the next 24 hours. There was a dishwashing powder container in kitchen cupboard , with 1/4 teaspoon of powder in it. So, a very disappointing stay. I would not recommend this property to anyone. The 2 positive things- comfy beds and a good smat TV.
