The open-plan layout is light and functional, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Sliding doors open onto a private balcony, where you can enjoy elevated views over the resort’s pool area and out towards the Coral Sea.

Positioned on the top (third) floor, the studio enjoys added privacy and a more elevated outlook. Please note the lift services the building to the second floor, with one additional flight of stairs required to access the apartment.

Set away from the busier Macrossan Street side of the resort, the studio offers a quieter aspect, making it a great option for guests seeking a more restful stay while still being just moments from the heart of town.

Located within Club Tropical Resort, guests also have access to shared facilities including the swimming pool, spa, sauna and tropical gardens, offering a relaxed resort-style experience in a central location.

The resort offers a newly renovated pool area, BBQ facilities, spa pools and a sauna, creating a relaxed and comfortable holiday setting.

The studio is positioned on the top (third) floor, providing added privacy and an elevated outlook. Lift access is available to the second floor, with one additional flight of stairs required to access the apartment.



The Neighborhood:

Located just off Macrossan Street on the quieter Wharf Street side of Port Douglas, this studio offers the perfect balance of convenience and a more relaxed setting.

You’re only moments from the heart of town, with easy access to cafes, restaurants, boutique shops and the marina, all within walking distance. Four Mile Beach is also a short stroll away, ideal for morning walks, swimming or simply unwinding by the water.

Within the Club Tropical complex, you’ll find Sassi La Cucina + Bar just downstairs — a popular spot for relaxed dining and drinks. The surrounding area also offers excellent shopping, from local boutiques to beachwear and artisan stores along Macrossan Street.

Nearby, you’ll find the local park, weekend markets and the iconic Sugar Wharf, all adding to the charm and lifestyle of this central location.

Getting Around:

Located just off Macrossan Street, everything is within easy walking distance including cafes, restaurants, shops, the marina and Four Mile Beach. Taxis, shuttle services and bike hire are also available if needed.

This apartment is privately managed and is not part of the resort’s on-site letting pool. While you’ll have full access to resort facilities, on-site reception and caretakers are unable to assist with enquiries relating to your stay — we are always available directly should you need anything.

This is a self-contained studio and is not serviced daily. Starter amenities are provided to get your stay underway, with additional supplies available locally.

Unit with character

I really enjoyed my stay in Port Douglas. It was easy to check in, the host was very helpful. The unit is in a great spot- only negative was it was a bit noisey Saturday and Sunday night. Loved the outlook of the unit over tropical gardens, water and mountains.

It's a foodie's haven, a fisherman's dream, a diver's mecca and a holiday maker's total relaxation hub.

Bella Vista is located on the top floor of Club Tropical Resort, right in the heart of Port Douglas. From the balcony enjoy sunset views over the Coral Sea out to the mountains beyond. Pop downstairs for delicious and authentic Italian cuisine or over the road for the pub experience.
