The overall condition was terrible. Here are a few issues: burnt out lightbulbs, 2 of 3 TVs were not connected to cable and did not work, cobwebs in the unit, luggage left behind on deck, socks left behind furniture, floors buckled, carpets stained and dirty, bugs in sink, and toilet paper holder fell off of the wall. Please look before you buy.

"Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry the property's cleanliness and condition fell short of expectations. The unit was cleaned before your arrival, though cobwebs can accumulate quickly on Beech Mountain during this time of year. The carpet has since been professionally cleaned, and the luggage left on the balcony was removed. We also discovered that a missing cable box affected the TVs, and two Roku devices have since been installed. We recognize your additional concerns about the lighting, buckled floors, items left behind furniture, bugs in the sink, and loose toilet paper holder. We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention so we can give them the attention they deserve."

The property was perfectly located within Beech Mountain. Everything we needed was right in the condo. Loved that it was clean and pet friendly! Fred's Mercantile has corn for sale so we were able to feed the deer straight from the balcony.

Wonderful location on Beech Mountain. Very comfortable condo, easy to walk to the summer concert series! Close to lots of hiking trails. 100% recommend!

Very cozy stay. You can definitely walk to Beech Mountain resort but it is a little bit of a trek. The place was clean, but could tell the previous stay likely had a pet with them as all of our stuff acquired a good bit of dog fur. Love the heaters in the bathrooms, very nice touch being able to warm them up before taking a shower! It was a little confusing as the guest contact given to us by VRBO wasn’t actually the correct person, but that was handled fairly quickly. Again great place and would stay here again for ease of walking to Beech!

Beech mtn

Pretty good place theres no ventilation so when you cook it gets really smoky and the vent on the microwave blows back right into the room but other then that pretty good place super close to the slopes which is why i went

Great condo!

Loved the condo and location, just had a hard time with 2 sets of stairs to get in and out of the building each time. With luggage, the dog, etc.. My knees were hurting.

The place is somewhat run down, the floors were uneven, the sliding glass doors were inoperable. The place was clean, but needs updating. Parking was a challenge, the road isn't wide enough to pull out when other cars parked close to you. The beds were not comfortable, the master king's feet was higher than your head, had to sleep with 2 pillows. The queen was even worse. It was fine for a quick weekend, but not for any longer stay. The instructions for departure were confusing, 3 different ones, One posted on the refrigerator, one in the reference book and one listed on the email. We tried our best.

Solid choice right near the slopes that is pet friendly!

Overall, this is a great location. You can't beat being walking distance to the slopes with a kitchen and free parking. Parking got a little tight but is super easy and basically right at the top of the stairs. Plenty of space for 2 couples or a family - the bedrooms are spacious and bathrooms were good. The living/dining space is nice but doesn't have a ton of seating as a heads up for any more than 2-3 people. Kitchen is pretty well stocked. It needs some TLC and repairs which we communicated with the host about - the deck in front of the entrance is very wobbly and not the safest so if you have kids or pets, I would confirm it's been fixed before staying. The whole place could use a bit of a deeper clean but for being a pet friendly option, it did feel overall clean. The sliding glass doors could use some work as they're very hard to open and close.
