Tidy little country house!Quiet, peaceful, and on Lake TexhomaSwimming beach is very close and golf cart was handy for driving our cooler and stuff to the beach.

Graduation Night

My daughter graduated high school and we had extended family in town! I didn’t have enough room at my home and motels are scarce in my area so I turned to Vrbo for accommodations! This rental was superb and fit our needs perfectly! Very well stocked and clean! Many thanks to the property owners for a memorable experience!

We met my husband's sister and husband to exchamge a kid and to enjoy the lake. It was comfortable and convenient to the lake. As described.

Community gate was broken upon arrival. House is cute and very close to lake. Rooms were clean and well presented. Kitchen drawers were a completely unorganised and I ended up organising myself to be able to cook and it made room for all my sundries to not be on the counters. There was no smoke alarm - found out the hard way. Golf cart was an added touch, the Pac-Man game (stayed up until 3:30 am playing) and the coffee maker and creamers. Things that I was disappointed with were no beach towels or blankets left and the lawn was mowed but not edged or left tidy nor the outside wiped down from previous guest. I’d definitely want to come back as it was lovely and cozy. WiFi is a bit slow but I was there to relax.

The community gate is managed by the neighborhood association, but we’re glad it didn’t affect access during this stay. We’ll also make sure the kitchen drawers and outdoor areas are checked more closely between guests. I appreciate the kind words and am happy to know they’d like to return.”

There’s no beach

Place was cute and comfortable. The listing wasn’t accurate. There is no beach access. There’s a big field which ends in the lake. The path to the lake could only be crossed by walking through a huge hole full of water. If we’d gotten the golf cart out it would’ve been stuck in the hole if it had made it at all.We were really looking forward to being able to sit on a small shoreline/beach.Please update your listing so people looking to have lake access can actually have it.

Hi Aimee, thank you for sharing your feedback. Due to recent heavy rains, access to the lake has been more limited, and several nearby roads have been temporarily closed as a result. While this is a short-term situation, the golf cart remains available to transport guests to the water whenever conditions permit. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and are glad to hear you still enjoyed your time on the property.
