The home was quaint, well kept and super clean. Such a fun and cozy home and back yard. Would definitely stay at Fox house again. It is also within walking distance of the downtown and hiking trails. Excellent place to stay in the Taylors Falls area.

A Restful Hideaway

Loved the property and its location. Lots to see and do in the area with very easy access either by foot or car. House accomodations excellent. Everything that we needed was there. Would stay there again.

The location was ideal! We were able to take in the potholes at the park, coffee shop, shopping, a wonderful bar and grill AND walk to Wisconsin! Great Family Getaway

We had a great stay at the yellow home! We loved the historical charm of the home and also the little city of Taylors Falls. The home has all the old world charm with modern amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. Every detail was thought out and we felt very much at home there.

Very beautiful historic home, easy access to town

We enjoyed staying in such a beautifully preserved historic property! The location to the Main Street with coffee and restaurants was a short hilly walk and very enjoyable. It’s also walking distance to the river rentals. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and the kitchen was well outfitted. Great experience.

The perfect lodging for our short weekend getaway. All the quaintness of a historic home. Well appointed furnishings and decorations. Bathrooms and kitchen are updated and blend well into the historic appeal of the home. All the amenities we needed. 4 women able to relax, eat, drink, and talk. We even learned how to quill and we made beautiful cards. Walking distance to downtown and the Interstate Park. I would definitely stay again if going to Taylors Falls. Thank you to our hosts. They were great at answering questions. They recommended a restaurant, Watershed. Great recommendation.

A lovely, comfortable home

The Fox House was a very cute, well-furnished, mid-1800's home updated for contemporary living. In fact, the house is historically the first in Taylor's Falls. Great windows that looked onto large trees. Well landscaped with good night lighting and plenty of outdoor areas to relax. The kitchen was well outfitted for cooking and had all anyone would need for a short term rental. Bed was comfortable and fireplace was a nice touch. The absence of a TV was most welcome. We would definitely stay here again.

FILO may not be a real inventory management acronym, but for us as the first guests of the cozy, peaceful, historical residence in a beautiful neighborhood in a beautiful corner of the world, First In Last Out is how we wish our enjoyment of the space could be. Comfortably apportioned with three generous bedrooms two fireplaces and historical spatial usage, you will be overjoyed at the value for price as you enjoy the natural beauty around you.
