We stayed with our little family, 2 adults and a 3yro. Nice little spot away from town. We stayed in a little shack at the back of the property. You enter the property, and park in a little nook on the right. You walk about 30m down the grass and find the shack out the back. There was kindling and firewood provided but unfortunately due to weather, we could light the fire. It was warm and cosy. Sarah provided some fresh local eggs and ciabatta for brekky. It was a little tight for
Lovely quiet location, the bed and linen were beautiful, the bathroom was very nice (toilet roll holder would be a plus) and air conditioning would add to the experience. Not sure the owner checked bread, which was mouldy but we enjoyed the surrounds and wonderful bird life and so did our two small dogs.
We had a wonderful and relaxed time at Sarah's barn. A lovely breakfast with eggs and honey from the property and delicious home made jam, while we soaked in the garden and our dog sunbaked. She was very helpful in terms of telling us about local activities, we went on some great local walks and ate some delicious cake! (Ask Sarah about cake Friday). We needed a quiet break away from Melbourne and this was beautiful and perfect.
