Welcome to Mountain Top Lodge, the perfect luxury escape to the hinterland of northern NSW. If chilling out in a tranquil homestead set on a lush hillside over looking Nimbin rocks, surrounded by avocado and mango trees sounds like what you need then look no further.
In only an hour or so drive from Byron Bay, Ballina Airport or Coolangatta/Gold Coast Airport you could have a glass of champagne in hand and be bathing in a cozy western red cedar woodfire hot tub.
Relax in absolute comfort while still feeling immersed in the mountain’s lovely isolated forest with an abundance of wonderful local wildlife like echidnas, sugar gliders, wallabies and so many more. We dont want to spoil all the surprises. The little hobby farm is host to over 100 avocado trees, 50 mango trees, plus starfruit, mandarin, tangelo, lemon, lime, pecan and macadamia trees and more.
Enjoy cooking over the gas bbq or if you’re feeling a little more adventurous fire up the traditional Argentinian coal fired bbq. And if you need some garnish to go with your delicious meals then help yourself to the seasonally fresh herb garden.
Set up the kids with a movie on the outdoor cinema while you lounge by the fire pit or have a whiskey at the barn bar. Or perhaps a sunset picnic in the top paddock overlooking Nimbin pinnacles and surrounded by the mango and avocado groves.
Read a book while swinging in the hanging chair or hammock on the balcony over looking a view that makes you wonder why you don’t seek solitude more often. Whether you’re here to catch up with friends and family, find some quiet time on your own, or write that screenplay you’ve been planning for years, Mountain Top Lodge really is the perfect getaway for so many reasons.

We really enjoyed the natural beauty, the magnesium hot tub, and the lovely accommodation, so tastefully furnished. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
We had the best family holiday at the Mountain Lodge. Such a stunning location, beautiful interiors and wonderful kitchen to cook in! We had beautiful weather to enjoy the outdoors, and all that is provided including a hot tub and outdoor movies.
The interior design, furniture, beds and linens are all of a very high quality. The kitchen had all that we wished for including a great coffee machine.
Thank you Bec for a wonderful stay.
