About this property
Butterwood Ranch Cabin
A modern farm hideaway showcasing the artisanal country way of life, just a 40-minute scenic drive from the iconic Byron Bay. Located on the rich soils of the Northern Rivers, Bundjalung land. The cabin is a minimalist's ode to life upriver surrounded by verdant forest and native flora available to explore on foot around the ranch.
The space
Architecturally designed, the tiny home cedar cabin was created to enjoy sophisticated modern luxuries in a wild country setting. Inspired by the simple elemental nature of Nordic style, the cabin is cosy, earthy and tactile. A palette of light oak wood, black finishings and a warm butter hue surround the interiors.
Every aspect of the cabin build from paint to pure timber and insulation has been considered to ensure a biologically-friendly space and deep rest.
Enjoy lounging on the in-built lounge to read a book from our curated library or enjoy a board game at the breakfast table.
The master bedroom has a comfortable natural wood queen-sized bed and 1 wardrobe with large windows to emphasise the idyllic view.
The bathroom has a modern shower and toilet featuring our unique stone basin and large round mirror. Including a washing machine under the sink.
A full kitchen with a stacked double dishwasher and modern electric appliances including an espresso stovetop coffee maker and local ground coffee beans.
There is room for 2 cars to park on the property and a drying rack for your washing.
We invite guests to wander and explore the surrounding forest with a walking track up into the hills.
Guest access
The entire cabin will be yours while you stay. Your privacy and seclusion is our priority.
Other things to note
Due to the location, there is a lot of wildlife including spiders, occasional snakes (more so in warmer months). Take care if adventuring around the property and do not approach the cattle. It is also very quiet, often there are noises from wildlife in the night that can be heard.
Due to the nature of the farm, there are no pets allowed.
