Waterfront cottage with a beautiful sandy beach is perfect for young children as the beach is shallow and weed free with no steep drop offs!

The cottage sleeps up to eight people with three bedrooms and a pull-out couch. Includes drinkable well water, hot water, household necessities, satellite television and more.

Cozy lakeside cottage with a great sandy beach for kids. Being able to bring our dog was a huge plus. We had a bit of a hiccup with a plumbing leak and owners were timely with their response. Campfires, walks, hanging with friends, listening to geese, ducks, and loons. What more could you want for a relaxing week away from it all?

We arrived to having everything put in place for us. All we had to do was bring food and clothing. Our host had everything done for us. We enjoyed the water crafts that they had as well. Nice private beach. Very relaxing stay.

Just what we needed!

My husband and I had a great stay at Big Rock Cottage! Whenever I book a place, I always have that moment of - I hope this is as nice as the pics and reviews say...you can book with confidence here! Everything is as pictured, the cottage comes equipped with the essentials, the view is amazing, the screened porch is great, and the hosts are very responsive and accommodating. We'll definitely be returning!

Great getaway for families and their pups!

Great little cottage for a family and their pups! Cottage is very clean and the waterfront is perfect for children and dogs Quiet country location but within 20 minutes of shops. Hosts are kind and very responsive to any questions. They even stopped by with a generator when they heard we may have lost power intermittently during one of our days at the cottage! To the hosts: thanks for letting us use your space for a few days! Hope to do it again next summer!!

Wonderful Cottage Memories on Dalhousie Lake

First off, Emily was an amazing host - throughout all communications, she was prompt and accurate with information. In our group, we had two kids under 3 years old and Emily provided all sorts of things to make the kids feel at home - so unexpected and thoughtful! The cottage itself worked well for our needs, great screened in porch that worked well for rainy days, awesome fire pit stocked with firewood and a lovely setting on Dalhousie Lake. Great little towns to visit nearby as well. Our family truly enjoyed the stay and we highly recommend this rental to other families.
