Our stay was as expected and comfortable. The owner allowed us to drop off our lugages before check-in time, which we really appreciated. Close to airport, car rental and many transit routes.
Located only a 3 minute walk to the bus stop that can take you to downtown or Marine Drive Station. It's also very close to the airport. Spacious bedroom with a large sofa that can be used as a bed. Host is very accommodating and respond quickly to questions and requests. Overall a great place to stay to explore Vancouver.

Spacious Room with Room for Improvement
The room layout was great and felt spacious for us, which we really appreciated. However, the cleanliness could definitely be improved. The sofa bed we slept on wasn’t very clean, and we found quite a bit of trash underneath it. We also came across some cockroaches in both the kitchen and bathroom, which was concerning. With a bit more attention to cleanliness, this place could be a much more pleasant stay.

The unit and property is pretty nice. The skytrain and buses to downtown are close by, come about every 15-20min.
Clean unit, a couple little bugs here and there but that is because of the trees outside. Only thing is that if you cant sleep in heat do not book here. Old building so no AC. Gets really hot at night even with open windows.
The checkin was a little weird, it had us going to the back of the building, placement just felt a bit sketchy and like we were breaking in. The building cleanliness is not great, with hallways that smelt like cigarettes and dirt/grime. The apartment itself had a very moldy shower and strong stale smell inside. The smell penetrated my clothing from sleeping there I would smell for at least the first half of everyday. My two friends, a couple shared the room while I slept in the living room. On our third night, at 11:15pm I was woken up by a soft ringing, which I shortly realized was the fire alarm. I went to see if my friends were up from in, but it was practically not audible from the bedroom. We all grabbed our vital items and jackets to evacuate. After standing outside for 5 mins with other tenants, we asked if anyone knows if the fire department is coming. Everyone shrugged so my friend Alicia call the non emergency line. They confirmed no one was contacted by the building alarm, and to immediately call 911 - the fire department arrived in about 10-15mins. One of the permanent tenants said he messaged the building superintendent, but got no answers. I messaged the VRBO host, got no answers. The FD keybox was broken, and the Superintendent didn’t show up, so FD used an axe to break the hinges and turn off the alarm. FD posted a notice that the building is not up to fire code. The notice was removed the next day.
