A 25min walk will take you to Terrigal, with some of the best restaurants, boutique shops, and nightlife on the Central coast.
The space 1. 3 bedroom air conditioned. Townhouse, has an open plan lower level that has amazing ocean views and this space extends out onto an entertainment deck, equipped with a lounge setting, bar with 6 chairs and extra stools and 2 bean bags. A space to enjoy a breakfast, sun yourself on a deck chair, or in the evening have a few drinks, cook a barbecue, and enjoy the moonlit skies. 2.There is a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge area with a TV/Netflix . There is a laundry, toilet and shower on this level as well. 3.Up stairs are the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, 1 with a bath. The large master bedroom has a small balcony with spectacular ocean views and a small work table also looking out to wamberal beach and the lagoon. It has a king bed and a pull out sofa bed for 1 if required. It has a TV and beautifully lit ensuite. The 2 other bedrooms share a bathroom and one has a queen bed and the other a king single bed and a trundle. 4.There is a small private enclosed back yard, down stairs for young children to romp around.
Guest access The townhouse has been set up specifically for airbnb and therefore Guests are welcome to use anything. Except my covered shelves on the left wall in the garage. AVAILABLE FOR CONVENIENCE ARE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: *Travel cot and bedding, high chair, Baby bath, gate. *Adult and children's books, games. * toddler play station, puzzles. * beach chairs, umbrellas, kids surf board, kayak , boogie boards, snorkeling gear, and kids toys, picnic basket/rug/eskie, /beach cart, extra *2 beanbag, cushions and blankets. There is plenty of street parking near or around the corner. Mostly Note! there is No standing directly in front. No Parking in the driveway as it is steep, dangerous getting out and may block the neighbours access.
Other things to note IMPORTANT I have a request that you are respectful of the neighbours with limiting noise outside after 10.00pm. The outside brick wall is shared with the neighbour. Strictly no external guests and parties. Absolutely no smoking. I will not host school leavers in the schoolies celebrations. No groups under 25 years. As the property is on a main road, there is traffic noise that affects the 3rd bedroom and to a lesser degree the 2nd bedroom. master bedroom is quiet. Consider the inherent risk of the stairs if you have young children. See photos. I have a removable gate for downstairs.

A lovely home with great views to the ocean from both the upstairs and downstairs balconies. A great location close to terrigal and the beach and a bus stop to town just down the road. I can’t fault anything about our stay.
Janelle's place was a perfect venue for our family holiday. The location was fantastic, the place was meticulously clean and the stylish fittings and level of comfort were outstanding. Highly recommend.
Everything was spot on with a lot of thoughtful welcoming touches. Space worked well with our group. Excellent indoor and out door areas. Close to everything we needed. Janelle was very helpful.
We stayed at Seaside Retreat, Wamberal recently. The townhouse is impeccably styled. The furnishings and bedding are extremely comfortable and the villa is very well appointed. The view of Wamberal beach and lagoon from the back deck was an added bonus. Communication and check in process was seamless. We had a lovely stay at Seaside Retreat, Wamberal.

The house does have nice views from the back deck and has undergone a renovation in recent years. It is however, on the main road so was very noisy in the front two bedrooms. My children had some trouble sleeping. There isn’t any onsite parking which did mean needing to run back and forward across the busy road to unload the car. We were confronted by a neighbour about parking in front of his house (not over his driveway) so it did detract from the holiday. There is a garage but it is full of things so not able to be used and you are not allowed to park in the driveway. Finally, before booking this property I would warn you that the owner has extremely unrealistic expectations on bbq cleaning. We had only used the bbq once in our week and cleaned according to the instructions left. Unfortunately we were charged an additional fee as we had only cleaned the hot plates (apparently you need to pull everything out and clean under the bbq too). If you do stay here maybe don’t bother using the bbq, or save yourself the bother and just stay somewhere else.

This review was left by a guest who was charged an additional cleaning fee after leaving the barbecue in a condition that showed very little attempt to clean it. I understand the guest’s frustration, and this has clearly influenced the tone of their review.
The comments regarding parking, the street noise and garage are unfair, as this information is clearly outlined in the listing and check-in details so guests are aware before booking. These points have not been an issue for other guests and are consistent with what is described online.
This review reflects disappointment over the cleaning fee rather than the overall stay or property itself.
