Greg was a fantastic host and owns this amazing property, perfect for multiple families with kids. We had so much fun and the place was great. Highly recommended.
We had a brilliant time at Misty Mountain. Our host Greg was super communicative and helpful. We had heaps of space for all our guests and enjoyed all the many break out spaces we could use for food and games. We all had such a lovely weekend.
Greg was an amazing host. He was very clear in the lead up and extremely accomodating upon arrival and during the stay. Me and my group of 14 friends had a great time for a weekend away. I have nothing negative to say about my stay. The rooms were clean and tidy, the entertaining areas were well equipped. Highly recommend!
We organised a surprise 60th birthday for our wonderful Dad at Misty Mountain Farm Stay. The location is close enough to the freeway and shops, whilst far enough out to relax…. The property is meticulously maintained.
Greg (our host) was terrific. He allowed us to view the site before our stay so that we could plan and prepare. He did everything he could to accommodate. And to top it off, Greg is a genuine, down-to-earth, decent bloke.
Our stay was wonderful and most importantly, our Dad loved it. In his words “it was surreal”. Thank you Greg for the wonderful stay

Disappointed
The host came across as super friendly and welcoming, however on arrival I was more than disappointed, there was no internet, no firewood or anything to light a fire, (no heating), no tea & coffee, milk, no soap or other bathroom ammenties, no bathmat, so dusty and mouldly, just sheets on beds (no doonas) dusty unclean blankets piled on the floor in the bottom of the wardrobes, and mouldy pillows. We all reacted to the mould and dust, no one slept well, so disappointing as such a beautiful location and well manicured property, it was like opening a present with nothing inside. Sorry but feel we have to be honest.
Misty mountain was such a fun house to stay at. Large entertaining areas with really well laid out comfy rooms. Perfect for larger groups and the place has a lot of fun art installations. You can really see a lot of hard work went into making this place.
Greg was really polite and nice. Lives just nearby but kept his distance and had no problems with noise.
Definitely hoping to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend.
We had a great Easter in Misty Mountains Farm.
One of The most memorable moments would be sitting before the fire and enjoying Steaks and beer. Boys toasted marshmallows over the fire and even air was sweet.
We had a great experience and very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. Greg was extremely personable and helpful from the start of the booking process right up until we left the property. The house/bunkhouse and grounds were immaculately kept and housed 14 women comfortably. It was only 5 minutes up the road from the mountain biking park (which we spent 3 days at), and a few minutes from shops also, making it extremely convenient. The little extra touches like firewood being inside ready to go and the fire already on when we arrived made things even nicer. The house and kitchen had all we needed.
Thank you Greg for having us at your beautiful property, we can't wait to come back!
We had a lovely 2 night stay at Misty Mountain in four bed house. Lots of natural wood, manicured lawns and relaxed country ambience.
Greg (owner in separate residence next door) was the perfect host.
The cows are a delight to watch and feed some treats.

Perfect for large groups wanting to spend time together and have a couple of drinks. Good location, nice property, very clean and the verandah is really nice to chill on.

A very delightful and respectful gathering of young people, Abbey and her group of friend are always welcome back to "Misty Mountain Farm"
Regards Greg..
This property was everything we imagined it would be.
Lots of room for everyone, spotlessly clean.
A great place to spend the weekend with extended family.
Loved it and would love to go back in winter to sit around the fire.
The property is amazing. Friendly and relaxing. Greg is a great host.
We had a groups of 8 adults and two children under 10 years. The kids loved the open space and they quickly tired, and went to bed early, which meant the adults could have a few beers around the camp fire (child free). The property is far enough away from civilisation to be tranquil, yet only minutes to shopping/supplies. Highly recommend to groups.

Loved the property itself.
The place was lovely and clean, not enough crockery or cutlery. It was very hot and could do with air conditioning.
Greg was very nice and the place is a credit to him.

Greg - we loved that the Bunkhouse has been lovingly built by you. The view from every window is gorgeous, and Jethro (1) loved running around the big shady wrap-around balcony and feeding your horses with your help. We slept well in our luxurious bed, and cooked every meal in your kitchen. It's great to cook on gas on holiday. The best, of course, is the BBQ house overlooking the paddocks - what a way to end the day. 20 minutes to the Entrance and surrounding beaches meant we had the best of both worlds - a pretty rural base and the gorgeous coastal pools at the Entrance. We've recommended Misty Mountain to our friends.
