**FEATURED ON THE URBAN LIST & GOLD COAST BULLETIN**
Wake to breathtaking views of Mount Mee and the D’Aguilar Ranges from the comfort of Grey Gum Cottage.
This luxury mountain retreat blends rustic charm with modern comfort. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated — from crisp white sheets and fluffy towels to eco-friendly products and beautiful decor.
Perfect for couples or solo travellers seeking a peaceful nature escape, surrounded by serenity and unforgettable views.
Our property spans 29.5 acres, including 10 acres of beautiful forest that we’re actively rehabilitating to provide a safe haven for native wildlife and endangered koalas. We live on-site and are always nearby should you need anything during your stay. Guests are welcome to wander the grounds and meet our friendly Highland cows and goats—feel free to treat them to a bucket of hay, provided for you to feed the animals at your leisure.
We do live on site. Feel free to walk around and have a look, visit our Highland cows and goats and have a friendly chat if you see us around.
Feel free to message us on the app or text/call us. We are happy to come down if you are having problems with anything.
Our cottages are located only a 5-10 min drive to the delightful Dayboro village where you will find many unique cafes, galleries and shops. Whether by walk, mountain bike, horseback, trail bike or 4WD, there is an abundance of amazing national park to explore in the local area, with long and short trails to suit all levels of ability. Highlights include: • Somerset Trail at Mt Mee, and the Thylogale Walking Track at Mt Nebo, and trails at Mt Glorious. • One of Brisbane’s best swimming holes, Rocky Hole. Likewise Stoney Creek Swimming Hole is to the north near Woodford, and Cedar Creek is just to the south on the way to Samford. • Great picnic spots, scenic lookouts and drives to do including Lake Wivehoe Lookout at Mt Glorious, and the Mount Me Road tourist drive.
Whether you want to relax in or explore the surrounding area’s, this retreat has the perfect balance of both.
We are a sustainable & eco friendly small family business. The cottages have solar panels and run on rain water. All our products are eco friendly, compostable, and recyclable.
Your stay here contributes towards our land regeneration programs.

Just over an hours drive from Brisbane is beautiful suburb of Mount Pleasant. With beautiful views across picturesque valleys, and mountains of the D’Aguilar ranges.
It is likely that the first inhabitants of the district were the Garumngar clan of the Jinibara people. The Garumngar clan, who spoke a dialect of Waka (or Waka Waka), were associated with the foothills, slopes and valleys of the D`Aguilar Range.
THINGS TO DO:
Book in the most relaxing massage on the balcony with our mobile massage therapist Holly or the best remedial massage with Ellen. Details to book are provided after booking.
A short 10 minutes drive from The Two Little Witches is the gorgeous township of Dayboro. With it’s historical buildings adding a touch of nostalgia to your visit. A warm and welcoming community and a thriving arts scene, cafes and gift shops; Dayboro offers a delightful escape for art enthusiasts and culture seekers alike.
Our favourite restaurant and cafes include, The Dayboro Drop, Silverwood Cafe, Entangled on the Hill, Ocean View Estates Winery & Restaurant. And many more listed in my guide book on the Airbnb app.
Please call in advance to check opening hours and to see if a reservation in needed.
Take another 30 minute scenic drive to beautiful Samford Village. Another town with beautiful preserved buildings, an array of charming cafes, an antique store, Saturday markets, history museum, park, gift shops, and Brisbanes famous Harry Potter Store of Requirements for official Harry Potter merchandise. Have a cupcake, chocolate frog, every flavoured bean, and some butter beer while browsing through this wonderful store. You can even get sorted into a house by the sorting hat!!
There are also many sites to explore including hiking, walking and swimming holes.
D`Aguilar National Park - Northern
Located near Brisbane, D`Aguilar National Park is the perfect place for a day trip or weekend away. Walk through open eucalypt gum forests and lush subtropical rainforests, take a refreshing plunge in creeks and waterholes. Discover the remains of an antique sawmill in The Gantry, or head to Rocky Hole track for a tranquil swim. Voted as one of the top attractions to visit near Brisbane, Rocky Hole is a stunning swimming hole etched into the natural contours of Mount Mee`s granite filled gullies. Surrounded by open eucalypt forest, Rocky Hole is a picturesque location to take a dip on a hot summer day.
