Are you ready to ski one of the top ski resorts in the world? Listen to the soothing rush of the Blue River from your HUGE sunny deck! Hike a 14,000' peak, take in a music festival, or simply relax as you walk among the quaint shops in the historic town of Breckenridge? Our Colorado Classic ski home will be your perfect base camp to enjoy all of these things and so much more!

This home has an unbeatable location on the edge of town with hiking trails literally out the back door and Main Street just a mile and a half away. This is the place to spend your ski vacations and to retreat from the heat with our 75 degree summer days.

Our private vacation home is located just a mile south of downtown Breckenridge within a five minute drive of the ski slopes. We love our location in that we are closer than most homes 'in-town' and definitely closer to the action than homes have off of Peak 7 or Peak 8, which also require you to drive to the slopes. We can zip into town in just a few minutes and either park at the Gondola lot or drop off skiers at Peak 9 & 10. Easy access!

5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, plus a basement, game room w/ bunk beds and separate family room and a small kitchenette on the lower level and one level up there is a fabulous large dining table and comfortable reading/sitting area enclosed with all glass windows offering stunning mountain views! Private jacuzzi surrounded by large trees in the middle of nature - absolutely incredible to be sitting out at night looking at the stars!

Located only minutes the ski slopes & mere steps to scenic hiking trails & the majestic Blue River. Your mountain hideaway awaits!

- We highly recommend 4 wheel drive vehicles for driving in the snow and on our driveway when there is heavy snowfall.
- House backs up to the National Forest and Blue River trail system that leads to downtown Breck!

House Rules:
Renters and guests agree to the following terms and conditions for all bookings:

No Smoking of any kind on the property inside or out (do to fire hazards). Any violation of this will result in a $1000 fine. All trash placed in the garage must be locked up in the trash bins at all times. No lids can be left open due to possibility of bears on the property. Additionally, DO NOT LEAVE ANY FOOD OUTSIDE OR IN YOUR CAR AS THERE ARE BEARS IN COLORADO and they could do damage if they see or smell food and it is not thrown in the trash cans.

Dogs considered. Must get approval prior to booking. Only one dog per stay at the house at any time.

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: Minimum age requirement for renters and occupants is 23 years of age, unless accompanied by parents or legal guardian.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: Max Occupancy with adults and children is 10.

RENTER DAMAGES: Renters will be responsible for any property damages incurred during their stay. Damages will be taken from the security deposit or charged to the credit card used for the reservation.

CLEANING SERVICE: Home does not offer daily cleaning services. All towels, robes and linens are provided for your stay. We also have a washer and dryer in the home. If daily or mid-week cleaning services are desired, these can be accommodated at an additional cost.

One time cleaning fee applies to each reservation. This cleaning fee is for standard cleaning and linens. Cleaning service will charge a fee for excessive cleaning required and if charged, this fee will be the responsibility of the renter and will be charged to the credit card used for the reservation.

LIABILITY WAIVER: Property owners, cleaning company and rental management company will not be responsible for accidents, damages or injury to renters using the property. All renters will hold owners harmless for any accidents that may occur while on the property. All use of the property is at your own risk.

FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS. Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in. This includes mis-stating number of adults and children to be occupying the property. Max number of adults and children on any given night should be property stated on the reservation.

Great house for family gatherings

Spacious House in Great Location

We stayed for two weeks in Jodi's property and had plenty of space for our group. The house is spacious with plenty of beds and family space. Jodi is a great host and was very communicative prior to checking in as well as responsive during the trip. Would definitely recommend staying in any of her properties.

Wonderful place for a family gathering!! Came with our 3 grown children and their families to celebrate our mother's 90th birthday. Plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable and have privacy. Perfect ski retreat

We all loved your home. We had three families and one dog, and it was plenty spacious while simultaneously cozy. The location is very quiet, which we all loved, yet super close to the slopes and town. We woke up to a moose waking right by the window one morning, which was so cool! Great ski vacation home, I highly recommend.

Wonderful family vacation

We truly enjoyed our stay this past week - this house accommodated our extended family really well. The location was ideal - close to town yet far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet as well as the trails and river nearby. The house was comfortable, clean, furnished well and had everything needed to cook and enjoy meals together. What a wonderful mountain vacation!

Our four generation family loved our stay. There was plenty of room for us all to gather together, but also some quiet places to enjoy the scenery. We all loved the deck and enjoyed having s’mores every night. The pool table, hot tub, and corn hole game were a big hit with the kids and adults. Jodi was very easy to communicate with. We all had a great time and would love to come back.

Fabulous home for a large group

this home is perfect for a large family or several families together. Warm, cozy and comfortable. A huge wrap around deck with lots of great furniture. High end gas grill and a wonderful hot tub. Amazing Location - Everything was perfect!

My large extended family stayed here for a ski vacation and everyone felt right at home. The lodge has three levels and plenty of room to spread out including in the large game room downstairs with the bunk beds. There is everything you could need in the house ready to use. The location in relationship to Breckenridge is incredible. It's less than 5 minutes from peak 9 and the roads in the neighborhood were plowed right after the snow, making access every easy (still need 4WD, AWD, or chains in the snow though).

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home in Breckenridge!!! The views are amazing! Just a reminder, especially if you are coming from the very humid midwest, be prepared for how dry the air is at those altitudes. The property Manager and owner were wonderful, very attentive to our needs while there and even helped us get the propane fire pit working! We seen a moose on our second day, while on a walk, just down the road from the house and seen a fox wondering around the property a few days into our stay. This place is Simply Amazing!!

Thanksgiving in Breckenridge

Beautiful large home that is well stocked with everything you will need. We had a wonderful time with lots of snow. We had 9 adults and 6 children and didn’t utilize all of the bedding. This is the 1st place that I didn’t wash towels all week, he has plenty! A couple of us had to work some and loved sitting at the table on our computers in the sunroom with the absolutely gorgeous views! This was our 1st time to visit this area and will definitely return.

Family cabin trip February 24-26, 2017

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this vacation home. We've rented many vacation homes in the mountains and this is by far the nicest one we've stayed at. The bathrooms and kitchen were updated and had new appliances. Very clean and neat place. Only thing missing is a hot tub, but owner will be making that addition soon. It might be a little difficult to find the place because the GPS directs a little further than where the house is located so be on the lookout for the address on the stone pillar once you get near. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great get away. We will definitely rent out this place again.

Wonderful mountain getaway!

We just left from a fantastic Thanksgiving week at this phenomenal home. It is very close to Breckenridge yet far enough from town that it is private and quiet. The views from the balcony are breathtaking. We enjoyed hiking the trails in the neighborhood, building a snowman, having snowball fights and making s'mores! The skiing was great too at Breckenridge and A-Basin even for early in the season. The house is clean, well maintained with lots of room for spreading out and lots of opportunity for spending quality time cooking meals in the wonderful kitchen and eating around the dining table with incredible views. We just loved it! You can't go wrong with this home for your mountain vacation!

This was truly a home that our family enjoyed during the first week of 2022. Beautiful property that truly “lives well”! Close enough to Breck Resort to shuttle our skiers with varying schedules. The kitchen was wonderful and had everything I needed to prep for our family as we enjoy gourmet meals after a day of skiing. We could spread out for those who wanted to play pool, watch a movie, do a puzzle, sit by the fire inside or on the deck and of course a great hot tub. Very clean and had plenty of towels etc … Jodi was awesome to work with, punctual and very responsible… so we would definitely return.

Fabulous location

We stayed at this property with a large family of 13. There was plenty of space for the younger adults to spread out on the lower level and they thoroughly enjoyed the pool table. The house itself is very cozy despite its larger size. We especially loved the dining area and cozy nook framed by large windows. We spent every morning here eating breakfast and discussing plans for the day ahead. The location can’t be beat! Just minutes from the town of Breckenridge. It was easy to be dropped off for skiing for the day and to run into town to visit. We all enjoyed the hot tub especially after a full day of skiing. The kitchen was stocked well with pots/pans detergent etc. We had a minor problem with the dishwasher which was repaired and at times the water pressure could be a bit weak. Overall we would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Mountain Home!

We stayed in this home for Spring Break 2018. My kids actually said when we got there, "This is the best house we have rented." The house was perfect. The house is spacious and the layout was great for multiple families with all ages. We loved being able to have the teenagers downstairs. The house was stocked with everything and more than we would have ever needed. The pool table, gaming systems, hot tub, multiple TVs, sleds, and board games kept the kids entertained throughout the visit. The kitchen was stocked with everything from crockpot, griddle, spices, etc. Most houses we have rented do not have all the luxuries of home. It is very obvious that this is a second home and not just a rental property. There is attention to detail in every room. The apartment downstairs was great for the teenagers. There were multiple refrigerators which was very helpful with multiple families and 3 levels. The views are amazing and area is secluded but still very close to the town. We have always stayed in a ski in skin out prior to this vacation. We chose this house because of size and amenities and we were not disappointed. The short drive was completely worth it. We drove down to the gondola to catch lifts daily. Scott, the owner, was also very helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. We will definitely stay in this home again. Bobcat Lodge Ski Weekend

Very nice property close to Breck that our group enjoyed during our recent long ski weekend. House is very well appointed and was very comfortable during our stay. Owner was very communicative and easy to deal with. There were some minor issues that we dealt with that cost this listing a full 5 stars. 1. The coffee maker didn't work properly and appeared like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. There were hard water stains on the plumbing fixtures that indicated the source of this problem. We ended up running several quarts of vinegar through the coffee machine to clear out the hard water deposits and get it functioning properly. Then it needed to be rinsed with more water. This was time consuming for our cook and is something we shouldn't have had to deal with. 2. The fireplace had a fan feature to help with airflow. Unfortunately, this fan was unbalanced/ in disrepair and made terrible sounds when we tried to use it the first time. We never used it. 3. There is a great wood shed (inside), with lots of wood for the fireplace. But you will not find one firestarter or match in the entire house. Is it too much to ask that these items be provided, or at least a starter set? We had to run into town to get both. 4. There was a nice propane fire table on the deck. The igniter unfortunately doesn't work. See comment above regarding matches/ torches being provided. 5. The charcoal/ Weber grill was a surprise twice. First, that it was charcoal and not propane and second, it hadn't been cleaned in ages. Just to get the bottom vents open so it would work properly, we had to hand chip solidified/ frozen ash that was 1-2 inches deep from the entire bottom of the grill, This took about an hour, outside - in the cold. Not something we should have had to deal with. Fortunately, we noticed this earlier in the day and had a bag of charcoal - but, like the previous issue, no matches for the fireplace or in the house at all. 6. The trashbags that were provided were both flimsy (tore easily) and not sufficient in quantity. We ended up purchasing more - as all waste - including recyclable bottles and cans - was required to be bagged and placed in the garage receptacles. If you enjoy a few adult beverages, you will be bagging your empties. We ate 2 meals a day at the house (breakfast, dinner) and ran out of trashbags quickly. My guess is that the management/ cleaning company and owner have a few things to optimize going forward.

Juat what is needed

We had 10 guys who had all skied together for years. The place was big enough ti house all of us. Plenty of space to play cards, sit on deck by fire, relax and soak in the hot tub, cook meals, coffee in the nook in the mornimg. Just rights.

Why they chose this property

Fantastic, LARGE, mountain home! It's a 3 minute drive to town and Gondola 1. Also near goose pasture tarn, and backs up to the national forest which makes for amazing hiking & mountain biking.

What makes this property unique

The house is situated on the outskirts of Breck with a short 1.5 miles to downtown and Gondola 1. We have splendid views of Peak 9 & 10, very close to Goose Pasture Tarn, and the National Forest in our backyard along with Hiking and Mountain biking trails immediately out the back. Bus stop to the ski lift is a block away and you can be on the mountain in a matter of minutes!!!
