Geckos - a terrific stay at Bogangar

Looking for the perfect family home complete with swimming pool for your next holiday? Gecko`s will become your favourite holiday destination.

When you walk into this beautiful 4 bedroom home you will immediatley feel yourself relax.

The open plan living and kitchen area leads out onto the backyard overlooking the inground swimming pool.
Spend the day at the beach or exploring the many scenic drives and trails that the Tweed / Byron Hinterlands have to offer before firing up the BBQ on the undercover entertaining area while watching the kids play in the pool.
Geckos is located only a short stroll to Norries Headland where you can access the popular surfing beach or the dog friendly area. Catch the courtesy bus to the Cabarita Beach Sports Club for a night out or try one of the restaurants or cafes in the main street.
With Woolworths, butchers, bakery and chemist all within walking distance, why go anywhere else? Pack the kids, the dog (did we say it was pet friendly? Cause it is!) and come and enjoy this lovely holiday home.

Our new favourite holiday home, whether rain or sunshine!

Absolutely loved this property. We are highly praising in regard to how the owner has set up this house so beautifully for a comfortable and restorative stay.A hidden gem for its prime location, spacious layout and generous, comforting furnishings and provisions. Fabulous address being in a quiet residential street, which we found to be an easy (short) distance to the off-leash dog beach and convenient stroll to the Cabarita Beach village shops. While peacefully away from the main strip, the property is also close enough to the coastline to hear the ocean from its delightful and private wrap-around patio, inviting pool and deck with superior quality lounges and umbrella for shady poolside reading and dozing. For self-containing holidayers (like ourselves) who enjoy cooking/preparing meals, this kitchen is the most thoughtfully equipped of any vacation property we’ve ever stayed in. Let’s begin with sharp knives: a tremendous surprise! Huge range of utensils, tools and high-quality cookware; big five-burner gas stove top and wide electric oven; a well-maintained, modern outdoor gas BBQ; and loads of storage containers, mixing bowls and even a set of scales. All of this is greatly valued by a cooking enthusiast. Very much appreciated having access to an excellent variety of international cookbooks to browse and from which to gain inspiration. Extremely grateful for this being pet-friendly accommodation and a ‘chill’ experience by comparison with other properties.
