Property exceeded our expectations. We’ve stayed in this neighbourhood before, but this property stands out compared to our previous stays.

Positives: The rental was absolutely beautiful and very clean. Plus had plenty of dishes and appliances. Loved the game room and themed rooms for kids. Negatives: Keypad lock doesn’t work and owner is aware. Attempted for over an hour before was told to go through back which was unlocked. Stayed 9 nights and had to leave the door unlocked when we left everyday. Felt very uncomfortable with our things being left unsecured. Also barcode only worked the 1st time getting in and wouldn’t work after that. (Not uncommon, apparently)Have to drive several minutes away to get a new one from a security guard. Also, the hot tub is not a HOT tub. It is the same temp as the pool. Really?Last, I think if a group of 6 is staying 9 nights & 10 days it should be courtesy to leave more than 1 roll of paper towels, 3 trash bags, 1 roll of toilet paper per BR, etc.

Thank you for being our guest and for your detailed review. We are glad that your family loved the themed rooms and the overall stay. The front door lock has been changed to a new one now. The QR passes is related to the front entrance, the only thing we can do is to add the guest names. The jacuzzi is usable, to convert the jacuzzi into a hot tub, a pool heater rental is required. Last, we have mentioned on the listing and on the rental agreement and on house rules, we only provide beginners amenities, rest the guest can replenish per their needs and their length of stay.

Frustrating

The property was really nice! Beautiful and spacious house. Thought after a long and hard check in process, we will never book through these people again! We got to the house at 7 pm after driving 10 hours, and the door lock was not working… the property manager was extremely hard to get in contact with and he was NOT helpful. We had to wait in our car until 10:30 before someone came to fix it and even then, they did not fix it. The booking process was also frustrating, usually when I book through VRBO I just book and it done, but they kept need information from me and even a random selfie….and if I didn’t send that information ASAP, they would threaten to cancel my stay…

Hello Aleah, I am very sorry that you had dead door lock. Luiz had replied to you on phone and in messages and had been there. But I do understand your disappointment and want to apologize deeply about it. This does not normally happen as prior to each checkin, door lock functions, batteries etc is checked thoroughly. The booking process is not challenging, we have a pre-checkin verification process for the safety and security of both parties - you an us, since the entire checkin is done online. This requirement is clearly mentioned on the listing that you get to see before you book. I am sorry that the experience was a bit low, we hope we can turn that around sometime in future. Thank you for being our guest.
