Disappointed

The property managers placed a high importance on ensuring guests adhere to their terms and conditions. I received a lot of paperwork to read over and fill out before we arrived, and spent a lot of the stay worrying that we were not doing things to their standard. It is a beautiful and clean house with a beautiful view; however, it did not feel like a home away from home. The beds are very hard to sleep in. The parking was also a bit tricky as the driveway is quite tight and we ended up with a golf ball centimetres away from one of our cars. The day we departed, we realised we left my son's teddy behind. We were told that our lost property was found and was safely at their office; however, when we travelled a 2-hour round trip to pick it up they informed us it was not at the office. A few days later, I was again told that the lost property was at their office and I could arrange for it to be picked up. However, very shortly after, they told me they did not have it. Surprisingly, it still has not been located. After this experience, we will avoid properties managed by The Holiday Rental Specialists in the future.
