Not enough towels, the floors are hard to walk on where they tilt and you MUST climb steps to get inside. Oven did not work

Wonderful Stay. Beds super comfortable. Enough space for a family of 6. Simple directions to follow. The house was exactly what we needed for our family reunion.
Nice, neat house in a great centrally-located neighborhood.

Great location
Went down with our dog to visit friends. We were close to downtown Pensacola and 15-20 to Pensacola Beach.

Nice and comfy
The house was quaint and had plenty of room. It was very clean and had everything you needed for your stay. There was shopping not too far away and groceries just down the road.
Wonderfully upgraded 1940's house in great walkable neighborhood. A few quirks to be expected in an older house. overall very, very good!

Very enjoyable stay!
We stayed for a week here and had a great time. The house is very conveniently located and has an amazing kitchen. The backyard is nice with a super cute sitting area with an outdoor shower. The yard and driveway are enclosed with gate. The three bedrooms are comfortable with a TV in each. There are 2 separate TV rooms for convenient viewing options. The keypad entry is easy to learn.
Side yard needs picking up and outdoor shower curtain was in bad shape. When we returned Saturday afternoon there was a strong sewer gas smell in the kitchen and shower/bathroom next to kitchen. We lit a sented candle and it was better when we returned from dinner. Saw two roaches in the kitchen. Other wise everything else was great. Very nice kitchen set up and the kids loved all the TV’s in each room and the neighborhood was walkable with a Publix store nearby also a park to walk our Scottie. Would stay here again

Disliked: Communication
The rental was acceptable, it was clean and did have the amenities listed. One of the washcloths was stained. The location is great, near a grocery store and park. Parking is ample, the gate opens and closes manually. 3 days before our trip we received an email to contact the host if we were interested in early check-in. We sent 3 emails, no response. The wood floors of the house sloped slightly but noticeably downward in many places. Our son appreciated his own wing of the house. There were closets but they were locked. The tv in the back room was not working, making that room not useful to us. I sent an email about it and on the 2nd day of our stay heard back that it is not his usual email address, he usually texts with his guests, and that the tv in the back is old and he would look into it and let us know ASAP. I never heard back. The communication issues were disappointing. The setup in the front room was exceptional and controlled with one remote but the bedroom remote only worked for power/volume. The tv’s had profiles for app use. The shower curtain in the front bathroom is way too long and made showering tricky. This house could benefit from some very numerous, but minor repairs. Our biggest issue was the yard. Between the holes along the fence, the gap in the gate, shed that won’t close, and poorly covered crawlspace, and piles of random items, we were not able to let our dogs off-leash. Overall the house was fine, but not the relaxing getaway we had hoped for.

Nice stay
Nice house in a quiet neighborhood - nice fenced yard for the dog to explore, plenty of room for 6, comfortable beds. Outdoor shower was great. A few hiccups - hard to get the gas stove to light, the wooden outdoor seating in the pictures is starting to break/dry rot, the lawn maintenance guy came and immediately started mowing the backyard with no warning that he was there - while my 20 year old daughter was using the outdoor shower, and the water was shut off on our last full day due to an expired card on the autopay (the local contact got this fixed as soon as he could), but all in all, a good stay and we would likely rent again if we are in the area. The local contact is extremely responsive.

Ant problem
Pros:
Good location
Decent property
Cons:
Major ant problem, bathrooms and kitchen.
Stained furniture and bedding, should be replaced. Have pics of these issues, they were bad enough that we ended our rental early and went to the Marriott.
Just needs some proper attention to be a great rental.
My husband and I visit Pensacola each year and prefer a short rental vs. a hotel. This has been our best one yet! The home is beautiful and in a very nice neighbor. It was convenient to everything and cozy and comfortable for some much needed relaxation. One thing to note is there were ants in the kitchen which was not a deal breaker but the reason for 4 stars. I have them in my home sometimes so it was not alarming. Just be sure not to leave any food out on the counters for a long period of time or overnight. Per the previous reviews...if you plan to cook, bring your favorite pots or pans. There are some there but for us we were steaming seafood and forgot our large pot to make it easy. Other than that, this is a wonderful rental. You will not be disappointed!

Ants Everywhere
There were hundreds of ants inside the house. They came out of the kitchen sink. They were all over the bathroom walls and floors. They were all over the kitchen countertops and floors. The property manager came to spray but that did nothing. There is major extermination needed. Extremely disappointed and I recommend satying away from proerties owned by this property owner
