A rare find w/3 bedrooms plus Sofa Bed (sleeps 10). Easily fits 2 families, short walk to beach, equipped w/gas furnace for cooler nights, A/C for those hot summer days, electric fireplace for ambiance, full kitchen with a centre island and a dishwasher. Master bedroom sleeps 3 and has an ensuite shower bathroom and a large closet. Two walkouts to deck and a cathedral-ceiling sunroom for your morning coffee!

Inviting open concept interior, huge family room, fully furnished, smart TV, high-speed internet, 2 bathrooms with one full 4pc bathroom and another is a 3Pc w/shower.

Outside is a fire pit, 2 sun-filled decks, a propane bbq and a large very private backyard!

Cozy yet spacious and close to beach

Had a great time here. We booked for 7 adults and 2 kids (3 and 6 years old). 2 adults couldnt make it last minute, but that ended up working out anyway. Rooms were clean, beds were also clean and blankets/pillows were provided. There is a nice firepit and playspace outside, and the street is pretty quiet with slow cara every so often. Good for kids. Air conditioning worked well and wifi is fast/reliable. Can totally run a zoom call if needed, or catch up on some work while at the cottage. 1 issue we had was that the pull out couch had some obvious mouse poop. Luckily 2 ppl cancelled on us so we didnt need the pull out sofa, but if they hadnt cancelled we mightve been a little more cramped in. Overall it was a nice stay, water pressure and temp was perfect in showers, and walk to a pretty secluded and private feeling portion of the beach was roughly 6 to 7 minutes away. Theres a valu mart and downtown sauble 3 min away by car. Good place!

Could be improved

This was my first Vrbo rental and experience was not great. On hindsight, funny that I couldn’t find any reviews for this property on the app. Property is dated and amenities run down (chipped plates, no linen provided, ancient kitchen) but manageable. The real challenge with this stay was losing running water within 3 hours of our arrival with barely any use. There was no warning that it could happen, so it was super stressful to deal with at 9pm. I reached out to Vrbo support to get in touch with host (no emergency contact number was provided at the check in). While the host dispatched help promptly, her response provided conflicting info. While saying this was the first such occurrence, during the same call, she casually mentioned that there is in fact a water limitation - if 2 people take a shower and if the dishwasher is running (we’d done neither at that point), water runs out. Thankfully, the issue was resolved that night and water returned. We were out the whole day on Sunday and only returned late in the evening. Water ran out again early next morning without any one taking a shower as we were worried abt water running out. It’s a pretty big limitation if a beach side cottage that can house 10, runs out of water after so little use. This should have been flagged in the rental description at a bare minimum. Our weekend was ruined worrying about water running out (with 2 elderly folks and 2 toddlers). Do not recommend and won’t be coming back. Other renters, beware
