This is an adorable cottage to stay in with wonderful surroundings and hosts, really tranquil, if felt like we were staying in the country not an urban street.Super clean and well fitted out and equipped.I would highly recommend Fig Cottage as a great place to stay and look forward to my next stay, this will be my first choice in the Havelock North area.My only regret is not staying longer.....

Very well-appointed, compact little cottage - with delicious marmalade & toast for breakfast!
Appreciated the privacy blinds, as it is sited fairly close to neighbours, but very quiet & peaceful.
Easy parking and good location.
Our overnight stay at Fig Cottage was the ideal break during our trip up the east coast. Friendly and helpful hosts, lovely comfortable cottage, immaculately clean. We highly recommend.

Lovely quiet cottage. Christiana was very helpful.
Great property walking distance (30 minutes) from Havelock North township. Property was clean, extremely comfortable, nestled in a pretty garden area. It was a perfect location for our seven day stay to visit family and visit local attractions such as Napier, Te Mata range and local restaurants and wineries.
The cottage is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay, admiring the lovely gardens and seeing beautiful birds come and go.
It was so comfortable and well set up.for us when we got there!
Thank so much Christiana and Family for having us ❤️

Delighted your stay was full of memorable moments. Best wishes!
Christiana was a fabulous host, kindly allowing us to check in early as we needed to get to a function, and leaving a light on for our late return. The breakfast was delicious and I hope to visit again in summer to see the lovely garden in full bloom.
Excellent property for a couple, well appointed one bedroomed unit. Lovely shower, bathroom and amenities spotless. Welcome flowers and breakfast foods much appreciated. Also having dishes washed and replaced, and milk provided, was appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

About the host
Hosted by Christiana
Wayne and Christiana are your hosts, and we would like to warmly welcome you to Fig Cottage. Wayne is originally from Wanganui and I am from Havelock North. We both have day jobs. Wayne is an engineer and I am a teacher aide. We have two wonderful daughters who have moved away from home so we are empty nesters. Our pets, Missy the cat and Lexi a dog, are friendly and will most likely visit you during your stay. Wayne and I both have hobbies. Wayne's hobby is Model trains and he would be very happy to show you his efforts. My hobby is gardening which I hope you will enjoy while staying with us. The main house is connected to the cottage with decking, and while your privacy is of utmost importance to us, we will welcome you and check in to see if everything is ok, if we are home. Please feel free to come and see us or contact us at any stage during your stay.
