This was a clean, well appointed beach house. Our dog loved the fenced back yard. There is plenty of living space to spread out if you’re traveling with others and the pool and outdoor space is large and private.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was spacious, clean, and located on a quiet street close to the beach and other attractions. The pool was lovely, and there was plenty of room for our entire family and two dogs. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely loved the house and property. Fenced in back yard was perfect for the pups, loved the pool, and loved the house. Beds were comfortable and house was very clean. Host was very attentive, sent text checking on us daily. We had no problems during our stay. Would love to book this property again on our next trip to the area.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at salty Shores celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary! The home was everything we had hoped for although the weather was terrible. If it weren’t for the heated pool, it might’ve been a different story. Even when we couldn’t enjoy the beach, the pool was very nice. We took our bicycles, and it was a very easy ride or walk to the beach. We also enjoyed riding to the bay and enjoying the sunset. Everything you could possibly need for the beach and the pool were in the garage. In the garage was very very handy, considering all the rain. The sunroom was most enjoyable for the brightness, even when the rain continued. I cannot recommend this place enough, and Kelley and her team were incredible! We received quick answers and attention every time to any questions we had. You couldn’t go wrong with salty Shores.

Girl Scout Trip

We rented Salty Shores for a fun Girl Scout trip coming from Texas! The girls loved the house - they could all stay in the same room together since there were double bunk beds. They really enjoyed the pool along with all the fun pool toys found in the garage. There was plenty of room in the living room that they could stretch out and chill. The kitchen was perfect for them to be able to cook meals at the house. An added bonus was the quick walk to the beach and it is conviently located not too far from downtown St. Augustine. Was nice to get out of the hustle of downtome to return to the house after a day of exploring. Would definately recommend others to stay here. We really enjoyed our stay!!!

We loved this house! Pool was great fun for kids, and ocean beach is just 10 minute walk (or 2 minute drive). Super clean, with beach & pool necessities provided. TV’s in every room. Plenty of room for 9 of us! We look forward to returning.

This place is wonderful! The location is perfect...close to everything, but just outside the congested strip. Super easy beach access. A very short walk, but even better there is drive on access right there if you have 4wd. The backyard was ideal. The pool and the privacy fence felt like we were in our own little world. And the dogs loved being able to play off leash. The host was amazing and very responsive as well. Thanks for an amazing trip!

Great Place to Stay!

We stayed here 2 years ago and were happy to be able to book it again this year. The location is great. The beach isn't very crowded in this area. The house is comfortable. Having the living room and the sunroom provides a lot of seating. The garage has a lot of the things you need for the beach. If you are staying for a week, I recommend taking a few trash bags and a couple of rolls of toilet paper from home. There was enough of everything else we needed. I did use dryer sheets I brought, but there were enough pods to do several loads of laundry and run the dishwasher a few times. Publix and Winn Dixie are less than 10 minutes away. Drive into St. Augustine historic district is about 20 minutes. We will definitely book here again if we return to St. Augustine.

This was a lovely and perfect home for myself and my children. The pool was absolutely fantastic. It was so nice and the size was wonderful. The patio has plenty of sunny areas and plenty of shade if you need. When it stormed in the afternoon we would sit in the garage and watch the rain. The kitchen was small and functional. I purchased an instant pot and used that for a few meals, and left it behind for other guests. The beds were comfortable, and the televisions were really nice and functional. The Florida room was almost the best feature of the house. It was perfect for sitting in the evenings and mornings. The house is convenient to most things in St Augustine, and the walk to the beach, while a bit was very doable. Our dog loved walking to the beach and being in the yard with us, she is a beagle so she did find a way to dig under the gate a couple of times, but watching her closely was fine. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you for sharing your lovely and comfortable home.

Nice vacation. House was clean. Pool was nice. The house needs an outdoor/patio set with table and chairs. Would be nice to be able to sit outside and eat or relax in chairs at a table rather than sitting on the pool loungers.

Great stay!

Overall it was a fabulous vacation! The house was 0.3mi to the beach, so easy to walk to and a wagon was provided, along with beach boards and sand toys. We had the air conditioner go out on our first day and it was promptly fixed within just a few hours. The beds were very comfortable! We'd absolutely book here again!

Wonderful Salty Shores

We enjoyed the place, pool was great, not far from the beach, or even the river. Everything you needed was there, even beach towels, beach wagon, and pool/beach toys.

Great Property and Close to the Beach

This house was perfect for our family vacation. It was within a short walk to the beach and then after our stay at the beach we could come back to the warmer pool water and let our dogs run around the fenced in back yard. The house was decorated in a very cute beachy style with great artwork on the walls. The master bedroom and master bath were nice and spacious as well. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay!

Family Trip

The house was great. It is just about a 10 minute walk to the beach with littles and there is a cross walk for the cars to stop so you’re able to walk safely. Plenty of space and felt homey. The pool was great and the perfect temperature to be able to get straight in and enjoy. They were awesome at responding quickly and answered any questions I had before and during our trip. We will definitely book a house with them again!

Excellent stay! Highly recommend!

We had an exceptional experience at this home. We will definitely be booking again. Communication with the host was quick and easy…checking in and out was a breeze. Location was perfect for us and there were tons of beach toys and items available for us to use. We especially appreciated the enclosed garage and the sun room where we could clearly see the pool from inside. This helped us keep an eye on the big kids in the pool as we were doing other things! I would rate this home as exceptional. 5 stars all the way around!
