Great spot and novel, fun idea. Given the brewery is so close, some people may not love the lack of curtains in the common area but windows are a little tinted so not a big deal overall. It’s an houseboat so things as you’d expect for overall - All the things you’d really need. Easy check in and out - communication great. Was fun.
To be honest the floor was soaking wet through our the stay, maybe leave the mop inside. The mattress needs to be a mattress not foam inserts I'm sure they would fit and make a much better experience.
2nd stay in the last 4 weeks, great little place for a get away, something different, we love it there and will be back again and the food at boundary island brewery is awesome and 30 seconds walk. Really enjoy staying on the boat

Nice stay boat needs work window was loose banged all night in the wind needs fly screens and privacy
The houseboat was moored at a idilic moor next to a brewery and restaurant (with amazing food). It was well equipped and ready to go. Not a 5 star hotel but great for a relaxing weekend getaway. Would recommend

A lovely stay on the water. Sunset on the rooftop deck and breakfast watching the birds. Great communication with Peter who was helpful and talked us through all the houseboat quirks.

A Truly Unforgettable Houseboat Experience – Perfect for Families!
From the moment we stepped onto Peter’s houseboat, we knew we were in for something special. This wasn’t just a place to stay—it was an experience in itself, and one we’ll be talking about for years to come. The houseboat is incredibly well-appointed, with two separate bedrooms, a comfortable loungeroom, a hot shower, a fully equipped kitchenette (stovetop, fridge, and all the essentials), a TV, and even a spacious sundeck perfect for soaking in the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect blend of comfort and adventure. What really sets this stay apart, though, is how incredibly family-friendl

Great for a night stay or two, different from the norm. Very quiet and peaceful, the top deck was awesome providing a great view of the morning and even sunrise and sunset.
What would have made a nicer stay, some fly/mosquito screens on the doors and windows also curtains in the main area for privacy and blocking out the night security lighting.
Overall good experience and would stay there again.
All good except power in the morning power tripped couldn't get back on no coffee for me ! Otherwise enjoyed

It was a great setting in the harbour watching the sun rise and set and with lots of wildlife to see.
The boat would benefit from curtains or blinds for privacy and netting over the windows to keep the mosquitoes out. The shower cubicle was broken, but otherwise it was all in reasonable condition. Overall ok
Staff member could not find house boat with instructions given. Ended up returning home. Wasn't used.

Why they chose this property
I live a short distance from the Mandurah Quay Resort and so chose to Moore my houseboat at their marina. There is so much to do and enjoy mainly involving the water, surfing fishing swimming crabbing or just taking in the views and enjoying the lifestyle. Not to mention the brewery with their amazing brews and food.
What makes this property unique
The experience of just living aboard a houseboat for a few days. Its unique.
