Lovely, clean and comfortable accommodation with brilliant hosts. Perfect as a base for exploring the area and a class above other accommodation we have stayed at in TC previously.

Nice, quiet place to stay. Clean, new space with full kitchen. Restaurant at the waterfront is an easy walk.
The suite was lovely! Clean, comfy, well stocked and very quiet. We even had Steller Jays, doves and chipmunks visit on the back porch! We will be back. Best wishes.
This was definitely a rare gem. We had a perfect stay here. Everything was of a high standard from the cleanliness to the little thoughtful touches and attention to detail. It was a pleasure to stay at Denise and Don's. They were generous hosts sharing their local knowledge and making us feel welcomed.
Prime location in Telegraph Cove within walking distance to the historic boardwalk, whale museum, whale watching & kayaking, restaurant. And the owners have the most wonderful gallery that you need to check out!

The apartment is equipped with everything you need. It is small but private with a lovely back garden with BBQ. The bed is very comfortable with quality bedding. The owners have creatively furnished the apartment with beautiful wood craftsmanship. I highly recommend making time for a visit to the attached Boom Boat studio and Art Gallery. Don and Denise are great hosts willing to share art expertise and lots of local history.

We stayed two nights at the BoomBoat suite. It was very clean and comfortable with beautiful and thoughtful attention to detail. The suite is cozy with a nice private outdoor space and a well organized kitchen. Denise and Don were welcoming and kind, respectful of privacy but available if needed. Our pup also enjoyed the stay watching the chipmunks running up the hill outside the window ! Very quiet and private - highly recommend if you are headed to the North Island. Oh ! the gallery is amazing!! worth spending some time there...

Thank you Michelle, hopefully we will see you up here again!
Autumn in Telegraph Cove is a very chill and quiet time. All the rest of the tourists have headed home, and it's mostly locals and the foolhardy adventurous sort of traveller. Denise and Don's property was cozy and quiet with all the amenities you could as for as self-reliant guest, and afforded me a great base where I could enjoy breakfast and dinner, and prepare lunches for days exploring the north end of the Island.
Denise was super helpful and welcoming, and I'd recommend staying here either as a stormy adventure in the offseason or as a destination vacation in the summer.

Why they chose this property
Our amazing forest like setting, with those whales coming right up to the docks! Telegraph Cove is a special historic must see location. It is the main tourist destination for the beautiful North Vancouver Island. If you want to see orcas, humpbacks and many other wildlife, this is your place to be! Our neighbors are outstanding and put on an amazing show!
What makes this property unique
This property is one-of-a-kind! Immaculate, Hand crafted by the hosts, the woodworking and artistic touches are outstanding! Metal salmon swim off the roof, while bears, whales, seagulls and a lighthouse are found in the shingle siding. Unique artwork featured throughout the interior/exterior, and of course the famed Art Gallery with its cute Boom Boat mascot at the front entrance.
