The Lookout - Oregon Beach Vacations

The Lookout is a beautiful, cozy and bright two story, two bed, two bath house overlooking Beverly Beach just north of Newport. This rental has everything you need for a wonderful relaxing coastal vacation with room for up to four guests. Experience the brilliant sunsets over the sparkling blue Pacific while relaxing in the outdoor hot tub, or explore the beach with your friends and family. The spiral staircase beckons guests up to the romantic primary suite equipped with a mini kitchen, fireplace and access to a covered deck. Make memories with your loved ones while looking out on the scenery above the lush and private landscape. There are two flat screen TVs, two fireplaces, granite countertops, movies and games galore. The downstairs bedroom offers one king size bed. Beverly Beach State Park provides convenient beach access and is only a short ten minute walk from The Lookout. This vacation home is attractively decorated, and the open floor plan offers spectacular unobstructed ocean views from the comfort of the living room, dining area, kitchen and both bedrooms. Bring your binoculars and try to spot Beverly Beach's resident grey whales! They are often seen feeding year round just off shore. There are many fabulous restaurants in Newport's Nye Beach area and famous bay front, but if you prefer to dine in, the kitchen is well equipped, with everything you need to make a wonderful homemade meal. Gas and charcoal grills are also available for guest use if you're hoping to make your favorite barbecued steaks. Come down to The Lookout today, and explore the Oregon coast with your family and friends on your next vacation!

DO NOT BOOK!!!! We received check in information THREE HOURS LATE. Upon arriving back our WEDDING night, we discovered the property was infested with sugar ants. The host did not reimburse us for this discovery when we were forced to flee the property at 2am. Cobwebs and dirt built up everywhere, hot tub full of debris. This house is not cared for at all and the hosts are AWFUL. Don't book this property or any others that are under this vacation rental company - just check their Google reviews to see how common these issues are. Absolutely FILTHY and DISGUSTING. Completely ruined our wedding weekend. Also potential mold on the ceiling, snagged a few pictures of it but was too concerned with getting away from the ants crawling inches from our bed to look into it further. DO! NOT! BOOK!!!!!

We love the location and setup of the house. Our stay was for 3 nights but we only had 2 dishwasher packs and had to buy more for our stay. It would be nice if there were enough for the entire visit.

Perfect Ocean Front View

Excellent location. Great views. Outstanding deck looking out at the ocean. Hot Tub was great (could have used directions but we figured it out). 5 minutes from Depoe Bay, 10 minutes from Newport. Lots of hiking trails, wineries/bars/great eats. You could stay the whole trip at the house or venture out to the great little sea side towns.

Where to start? Couldn’t get in because the lock on the door was broken, wet spots from dog pee on carpet, WiFi disconnected not working, poor cellphone coverage, furniture not comfortable with one leg broken on chair, advertisement said washer and dryer but they were locked up. This was the second half of our trip and we needed washer and was counting on it. The manager was full of apologies but the WiFi wasn’t fixed until the last day.
