Given wrong door codes for entry of building; both front & back doors. Let into building by downstairs realtor tenant who probably felt sorry for me after a long travel day. Otherwise, I was locked out. Photo shows washer & dryer, when actually a combo unit is installed. Very small capacity with poor dryer capability. Parking space for this unit is next to the outside wall of the garage. Initially, this space was encroached upon by a large SUV in the adjacent space. Noisy location - both street noise and upstairs tenants until 2:00 am one night.

We were delightfully surprised the apartment was so spacious and comfortable and clean.
We were disappointingly surprised that the front State Highway #93 street noise was so loud! We could not leave the front windows or patio doors open or sleep in the main downstairs bedroom dur to the street highway noise..
We received several emails before our arrival about the property and check inThe first email gave us the wrong entrance codes for the building, but luckily i saved all the emails and was able to find the correct code. We arrived about 10 minutes before check in and just like the email said you cannot get in the condo before the 4pm check in time. At exactly 4 pm the door could be opened.The condo had a weird smell when we first got in. The queen bed in the loft had stains on the comforter. There was garbage left on the top bunk and hair in the bathtubOtherwise the condo was clean and they supplied coffee, olive oil, shampoo, dish soap and dishwasher detergent. There is one reserved spot and we never had issues finding close street parking. Easy walk to lots of downtown restrooms and shops. We would stay here again.
We had a great stay and would do it again in a heartbeat. Our host were terrific and very very quick to lend a hand if needed. If I had to be fair and find something less than absolute perfection I would say that the road noise can be a little excessive at times only if you keep the windows open with logging trucks moving through at lots of hours of the day but I got used to it very quickly. To be fair they are likely seasonal in nature. My wish list would also include an outdoor gas grill for steaks but I realize that is likely an insurance/safety issue. All in all a very very nice place and look forward to renting again soon.

Clean, secure, close to downtown Whitefish. Be aware that front of unit is on a main road that is heavily traveled so you will hear some noise from cars driving by (especially with sliding door or windows open).

Location, location, location! Great spot right downtown. Perfect spot if you’d like the convenience of downtown and it’s benefits. Would be a great spot for two couples, or a family with smaller children who don’t need their own rooms. Would have loved a townhouse off the main strip, as the traffic on 2nd St. was noisy during the week as it being a main throughway (I’m old so I travel with earplugs!).
Townhouse was very clean, updated, and we had a good response with management during our stay.

My family of four had a great stay during our ski trip at the 2nd Street Lofts. The loft is well located within an easy walk of downtown and a 15 minute drive to the mountain. We were also able to walk to the lake on a lighted trail that we picked up a few blocks from the condo. The covered parking made life significantly easier since it snowed almost everyday we were visiting and the spot was spacious enough to easily fit our rental SUV (which appeared not to be the case for some of the other Whitefish listings I reviewed).The loft is spacious, nicely decorated and the kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook and eat in. The beds are very comfortable and the washer/dryer is a huge benefit when traveling with kids. The one downside I saw was that there is no good place to store skis and boots at the end of the day when they are wet from the snow melting off them. It wasn't an issue for us since we rented skis each day at the resort, but I can see it being a problem if you bring your own.

Everything worked. Nicely appointed with all of the amenities one would need A bit noisy with traffic, since this is on a main street, but does slow down at night. Restaurants were close and very good. The parking space is tight for a large SUV (especially for this condo since it's on the end of the row) We checked in on Friday and unfortunately the elevator didn't get fixed until Monday, for this second floor condo, which was inconvenient. Glad we are only in our 70's.
Yes, ...I would stay again at this condo.
In very good condition (feels like new), well equipped and easy to get to location. excellent base point for visiting Glacier. If we come back to whitefish we will stay here.
