Nestled in the serene, forested neighborhood of Columbia Falls, Après Chalet is the quintessential Montana retreat with a private hot tub and spacious outdoor areas. This stunning 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom log cabin comfortably accommodates up to 11 guests. Located only a block from Meadow Lake Nordic Trails' relaxed skiable terrain and 30 minutes from skiing and snowshoeing at Glacier National Park, Après Chalet promises both adventure and ease.

Upon entering this traditional 2-story cabin, guests are immediately enveloped in a warm, welcoming embrace. Situated at the hallway's end, the laundry room features a washer and dryer and offers backyard access, where a bench and hooks create an ideal area for shedding wet ski or fishing gear. From the living area, guests can venture into the backyard, which boasts a spacious deck adorned with a hot tub, patio tables, string lights, and a grill for outdoor entertainment.

A second living area beckons with its array of games and books, 65” TV, gas fireplace, and access to the furnished second-floor deck.

Experience comfort, luxury, and Columbia Fall's natural splendor at Après Chalet. Easily explore downtown Whitefish (15 min.) and Glacier National Park (30 min.) with on-site parking.

This was a great house to stay in for the week. We really enjoyed the deck from the second level in the evenings. Three nights we saw deer either in their back yard or on the other side of the fence. The house was clean and a great house to rent.

It was very close to Glacier NP which is what we wanted. The grill wasn’t working properly so we did resort to cooking on the bonfire. It was clean and we had plenty of room for all (5) adults.

Whitefish Ski Vacation

We loved the house and its location. We experienced some great skiing and incredible views at Glacier National Park and Flathead Lake. The log cabin is cozy and has everything you need. Glacier Girls Get-away

The Apres Chalet did not disappoint! Truly a beautiful home decorated so cute with western theme! The accommodations were comfortable for our party of 11. Columbia Falls offers several coffee shops, grocery store, farmers market... the Gunsight Saloon has exceptional food and live music. This place is close to the West entrance of Glacier National Park. We opted for White Water Rafting through Glacier Raft Co, fishing excursion on Flathead lake (caught the big one), hiking, gift store shopping, and took a boat tour on Lake McDonald. It was a memorable trip! The Apres Chalet and their management team come highly recommended.

What a gorgeous warm cozy home!! Loved coming back to “Apres” after a long days hike. The kids enjoyed the games and books. The beds were SO comfortable!! Quintessential Montana Vacation Destination!!!

Simply amazing! The Aprés Chalet was absolutely perfect for our friends and family vacation to Glacier National Park and surrounding area. The house was a great location to the park and all activities....hiking, rafting, Whitefish, Kalispell, skiing...... and the rental is close to the Kalispell airport.......you couldn't ask for a better spot! The chalet is beautifully decorated, an authentic log cabin, styled in a comfortable western theme, perfect for getting you in the Montana state-of-mind. It is well-appointed with all the necessary comforts you will need for your stay. The kitchen is fully stocked, with every item necessary for preparing meals at home. They even have 3 types of coffeepots - regular drip, Keurig and Nespresso Vertuo!! The outdoor decks are lovely for relaxing, reading a book or enjoying a meal. Yard games are available for group fun - our family loved playing cross-net and corn hole. The fire pit is wonderful for evenings around a bonfire, and the night sky full of stars is breathtaking. The yard is a beautifully wooden spot, secluded for privacy and you will certainly enjoy a visit by a deer or two while you are there. We had excellent communication with the property manager. She was very responsive and was happy to give us recommendations and suggestions for our visit. The homeowner even offers the additional option of renting their SUV which is clean and safe. The Aprés Chalet is on the top of our VRBO rentals. Book this home now. You won't regret it.

Cabin was everything advertised and more. Close to GNP, airport and Whitefish. Easy to get around. Columbia Falls offers quaint places to eat and a great rodeo experience. GNP is a hiker’s paradise. Cabin was perfect for a family vacation. Could have fit more but we had only 5. Very clean and cozy. Deer were there almost daily. Owners have outfitted the cabin with care. Spacious kitchen and outside deck areas. We plan on going back!

Fabulous House near Glacier

We had a great stay at this home. It was really close to everything we wanted - Flathead Lake, Glacier, Kalispell. The house was fun, functional, and really comfortable. The deck is magical and we lived out there much of our stay. The manager was very responsive and easy to work with. We ended up needing to lengthen our stay and it couldn’t have been easier. The only complaint was that it was a surprisingly noisy neighborhood. The train tracks are a few miles away which is far enough so that the sound of its horn was a quaint touch during the day, but loud at night for light sleepers. And the road in front of the house is surprisingly loud. That said, I would definitely recommend this house and would stay here again. The comfort and cozy touches throughout and the convenient location more than make up for a bit of noise.

My first trip to Montana

I Love this cabin! The details are amazing. The house is so cozy and yet there is plenty of room to spread out. We had beautiful weather and we loved all the outdoor areas that let us appreciate it and sit back and relax (with a glass of wine or two;) RELAX! I can’t say it enough. We all slept like babies in the comfortable beds and enjoyed just hanging out at the house. It was easy to make meals in the well stocked kitchen and plenty of seating for our group. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere yet we were close to everything… Glacier National Park, Kalispell airport, Whitefish (my favorite-cute shops and delicious restaurants) and Columbia Falls is just a 5 minute drive to great restaurants and antique shops. I can’t wait to go back and experience snow and skiing (which is just a few minutes away).

We cannot say enough about this place. Its a true log cabin with more charm than we could’ve imagined. A few things we didnt get from listing that were wonderful for us is the kitchen is huge (and two full sinks!), there are 2 living areas w lots of seating which was ideal for 2 families with kids/teens and the beds are super comfortable. The mattresses and bedding. The location couldnt have been more convenient. We skied, went to GNP, spent time in Whitefish and quaint Columbia Falls. We cant wait to come back and already have friends we referred that are coming! And Jennie was super from first email through checkout.

The best winter trip!

From the moment we pulled into the drive we were overwhelmed by the beauty and charm of this roomy yet so cozy house! The house is beautifully decorated and captures the charm and feel of a cozy cabin with all of the space and creature comforts we could ever need. The house was immaculately clean, and there was never a time when any of us felt like we were missing something we would have had at home. No detail has been missed. Nestled in a neighborhood and so close to everything, the way the house sits on the property makes you feel like you are secluded and offers a lot of privacy. We enjoyed the out door fire pit and made coffee over it and roasted smores. We can't wait to come back in the summer and enjoy the big decks and summer days. Our drives to Glacier National Park and Whitefish Mountain were quick and easy. The airport is 10 minutes away. It couldn't have been any easier or more beautiful. So glad we found the Apres Chalet! We can't recommend this home enough and can't wait to go back!
