DETAILS: Located along the base of the Montana Rockies on the pristine waters of Lake Blaine sits the 2,400-square-foot Lake Blaine Lake House. It’s the perfect place to kayak and fish with family as it has a shared 150-foot dock. Sleeping up to 8 guests, this 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom retreat with a finished basement boasts a spacious front deck with fantastic lake and mountain views—roughly 20 minutes from Glacier National Park!

A stunning white façade with red doors and accents welcome guests to this 2-story lake house. With an open and inviting floor plan, the great room makes it easy to communicate between spaces. Curl up by the fireplace in the cozy living area, then relax and catch something on the TV while resting on the leather sofa. The spacious kitchen has high-end appliances and all the necessities to prepare a feast. With seating for 6 at the dining table and an additional 4 at the breakfast bar, there's plenty of room to gather for a meal. French doors lead out to the wraparound deck, surrounded by 4 acres of unobstructed views, featuring a propane grill and a firepit in the yard. When it's time to retire or the kids need a nap, the main-level guest bedroom provides 2 twin beds for convenience. Plus, with central air conditioning, it'll be easy to fall asleep on hot Summer days.

Luxury meets comfort on the top level of this home with 2 primary bedrooms, both with king beds. The second primary bedroom offers a versatile space with an additional built-in twin bed that’s great for families. A small landing at the top of the stairs includes a designated workspace and also another built-in twin bed.

The finished basement offers the perfect place to entertain friends and family. With a game room/living space, guests can play a friendly game of ping pong. And don't worry about unexpected guests, as the 2 oversized chairs convert to 2 twin sleeper sofas. The bathroom has a washer and dryer for convenience.

Great vacation location!

We had a great stay with our three young kids! House was very clean and great location in the country across from the lake, but not too far from town. We appreciated the house amenities for the kids and the porch chairs and fire pit offered plenty of relaxing. Our kids loved the “cubby beds” too. Overall, we would definitely recommend to family and friends visiting the area!

A real gem

One of the nicest rental homes we have ever stayed at. Very clean, lots of towels, beautiful scenery (never once did I look out the window and not see multiple deer in the back field), well stocked kitchen, ping pong table. It was a treat to come home each day.

Ask for "House Rules" BINDER before renting this property

Owners not helpful with concerns we expressed about their extra charge for cleaning after my wife and family double cleaned the floors and counter tops. Their "House Rules" Binder is absurd. I would NOT recommend this property to anyone who wants to have a hassle free and relaxing week on the lake. The area is a great area to vacation in but find a place where the owners will treat you with respect.

Just Wonderful!

We were so blessed to have spotted this jewel on the web while searching for a venue to have a small outdoor wedding in Montana. From the pictures on the website you get a good idea what this place has to offer, but wait until you arrive and see for yourself how truly special Lake Blaine Mountain Resort is! Spectacular scenery, beautiful grounds, and Montana's wonderful fall weather was the backdrop for this intimate family affair. Wedding guests commented how perfect the setting was for a wedding and how breathtaking it all was. And the most important comment was that of the bride and groom, who simply stated it was more than they could of asked for! With two uniquely beautiful dwellings on the property there was plenty of room for family to stay each with their own decks to take in the stunning views and host Tom and Julie thought of nearly every amenity to provide that "home away from home" feel. Family enjoyed the extended weekend, kayaking, a trip up to Glacier Park, our favorite cajun shrimp pasta at the Bigfork Inn, shopping in Whitefish and just simply relaxing. With so many things to do in the Flathead, this place is perfectly located to enjoy them all. Our heartfelt thanks to Tom and Julie for sharing your place with us! We will be back!

Family Ski Vacation

Out family had a wonderful time this weekend we skied hard two days and stayed at this cute vrbo on Lake Blaine. The grandkids loved every minute staying here playing ping pong and exploring after a fun day of skiing. They had the cutest cubby beds next to there parents rooms and plenty of wildlife to watch.

Perfect Location

Overall we were very happy with this home. It was clean, well laid out and in a great location. It seemed like everything we visited (Glacier NP, Big Fork, airport, Whitefish, Flathead lake) were all within a 15-20 minute drive, yet in a very rural setting. Grounds were well maintained and plenty of space for activities and parking. Lake Blaine was inaccessible from the "resort" dock due to the record drought so that was a bit of a bummer but we had read previous reviews so we expected it. Woody's Country Store within a 5 minute drive and gas within 10 minutes. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely little house

This house is a sweet little house with great views and a nice front deck. There are a few things I think people should know. 1. It is located 20 minutes from Kalispell and 25 minutes from Bigfork, so it’s a bit remote. 2. The “lake” it overlooks is dry on the side this house faces and we are in the middle of our high water season in Montana. 3. One of the king beds upstairs needs to be replaced as it’s creaky and the mattress is sad 4. There was a coffee pot and filters but no coffee or tea and it being so far from services it was a rude awakening. 5. Make sure you check the thermostat when you arrive and the fireplace does not work. The bones of this house are old so you will hear everything from upstairs to the next room. It is a cute, clean house with nature in the backyard and I don’t think any of my comments on deal breakers for us to stay here again, just think everyone should have the full story.

Great vacation rental

We had a wonderful 10 day vacation at this great lake house. Property was very clean and well stocked. The location was excellent for GNP, Kalispell and Flathead. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the lake activity, wildlife and our daily visit from a bald eagle. The dock did not appear to be boat accessible (quite shallow) so check that out prior to renting a boat. We would happily stay here again. Thanks for a great respite during these crazy times!
