Nice place

Nice cabin. Fantastic views. Easiest way to get up the cabin is from Rhododendron drive. Much better road and a front wheel drive vehicle can make it up to the cabin.

We can't tell you how much you're kind words mean to us Carolyn. We are actively working on restructuring directions to make sure Rhododendron is the primary access road for guests. Appreciate y'all.

Great cabin, very comforting stay. Definitely do not take their warning of a steep driveway lightly, this is very much off the beaten path and you will absolutely need a good off road vehicle to get there as the entire path up to the cabin is a challenging climb especially if you enter on the same road as is on the address, I do not recommend that thought there is a much easier pathway if you enter at Rhodendron Dr instead.

Michael, greatly appreciate you're kind words. We are actively in the process of making directions to the cabin updated with Rhododendron as the primary access road for guests and really appreciate the tips left for future guests!

Perfect Mountain Get-away

We had the best time here celebrating a 25th birthday! The cabin is wonderful for hanging out with beautiful views or if you want to venture out to enjoy the lake or surrounding forests. They even provided supplies to make smores over the fire, which we so appreciated. Only complaint was the drive up, two of our cars had a really hard time on Ridge Top Drive, but the other road - Rhododedron - is significantly less scary.

Monica, we really wanted to take some time to tell you how much we appreciated your kind words. That you and family chose to celebrate a 25th birthday at our home means so much and we hope we were able to provide the warmth and comfort needed! We are actively working to make sure directions are updated and clear to make sure Rhododendron is the road accesses to the property and apologies for any hardships these roads can be tough!

We want all guests to feel completely comfortable during their stay, and we’re sorry to hear this was your experience. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- The cabin is located in a wooded area, and as temperatures drop, it’s not uncommon for mice to seek warmth indoors. We’ve placed hidden traps around the home and continue to monitor the situation closely.- The home was thoroughly cleaned and inspected before your arrival, and we haven’t had similar reports from other guests, many of whom mention cleanliness as a highlight.- We’ll continue working with our pest control partners to ensure this home remains as guest-ready as possible during every season. Thanks for your feedback as we continue to improve and maintain a high standard of hospitality.
