Well kept cabin in a densely forested area. It is sort of a cabin neighborhood area. Beautiful trail area right down the road. We saw elk walk onto the property peacefully. The creek is right outside, maybe a bit treacherous for really young kids, but perfect for kids 7-12. Its pretty rugged terain up there but beautiful if that's what you're looking for. You won't get the feeling of full isolation, as it is part of a small neighborhood with a small general store nearby.
This location was nice and quiet and clean. It was a beautiful little cabin. We enjoyed it. We might rent it next year for our family reunion once again.

Very enjoyableThe cabin appeared to be all by itself which was great not having to contend with other visitors. We would like to rent this cabin again some time in the near future
There was no dish sponge so we bought one, the kitchen towels were stained, the bed comforter had hair on it possibly pet hair. Other than those few things we enjoyed our stay.
This cabin was great for our 3 day break from the Phoenix heat. Less than 10 minute walk from the general store and just a couple minutes more to reach The Landmark! The cabin was exactly as described, clean and cozy with our own private access to the creek. Our family enjoyed the stay and we would rebook again in the future.
I stayed here the weekend of my wedding, it was a gorgeous place to get ready for my big day and sitting out by the creek while I wrote my vows was incredible! Love this little piece of heaven.
The stay was amazing! We chose this place again this year because of how amazing it was last year! Everything was fabulous! The host was absolutely fantastic and very accommodating and easy to communicate to! The cabin has everything you could possibly need to cook in! It’s a cozy, very cute cabin! They have done a lot of updates to this cabin and a lot of work into it! The creek is always running, and the little general store down the way has all you could need, including AMAZING FUDGE, and wine! the host made their patio amazing for hanging out under the stars with your family! We highly recommend this VRBO and hope to return next year!
Great location! Beautiful property grounds, elk and squirrels abundant. Well stocked kitchen and baths. Drip coffee maker, toaster and more. Comfortable beds. Cabin stayed cool no ac, but ceiling fans and additional fans if needed. Our warmest day was 89 degrees and cabin was cool.
Nature lovers dream. Great location. Elk all over the place, even roam right on the property. Stairs right down to the creek. Squirrels, ducks, birds...you name it. Some good food places nearby. A few hiccups with the property management company but the owner was fantastic and stepped in and fixed them. In all the years renting VRBO's this is one of our all time favorites.
Right on the creek. This Place has history, character and serenity! We have been coming up for 20 years to Christopher Creek but always camped, this time we got this cabin for our 25th Anniversary. We were quite impressed! Cabin was clean and a great bed. Located right off the creek so we of course had to rock jump down the creek. Ate meals on the chairs by the creek. Even Walked the roads to experience the history of the cabins. Definitely staying here again! Highly recommend!!

Christopher Creek Weekend
This property was perfect for our weekend getaway. The interior has been renovated/upgraded with an amazing kitchen, gorgeous bathroom, modern lighting, full size washer/dryer and new fridge. The mattress was great, had no problem sleeping in!The location on the creek is perfect, the yard is spacious and loaded with bunnies and squirrels. All of the patio furniture you could need was comfortable and in good/new condition.I would highly recommend this property and would rent this specific home again.
Everything was good until the cleaning person showed up. We were running 12 minutes late loading the car. He pulled into the drive and as I left I asked him if he was the cleaning person. He was rude and he really didn’t need to be that way. It was upsetting. Other than that we enjoyed the cabin.
great cabin and location, very clean and quiet. enjoyed the daily visit by the elk but not so much the skunk!!! no problem.
Just to let you know shower drains slow??? maybe septic needs checking. Also could not get outdoor light string to work. It would have been lovely to have fire table work being out every evening for the price we paid.. Got by without grill, just had to use stove. Enjoyed hiking everyday. we turned furnace off...thanks Jean

From the owner: "Hi, Let me confirm that the outdoor patio furniture features a loveseat, chairs, and a table, all intended to provide a comfortable and relaxing space. It was not designed or advertised for fire use, and the shower drain had been inspected and drained easily. Thank you for taking the time to leave your review!"
