About this property

Mountain Views and Great Fire Pit

1 Bedroom home, with great long-range mountain views. Quiet wooded lot. Great fire pit area. Close to great trails for hiking, ATVs. The house is located on a dirt road. There is parking for at least 4 cars, but a large trailer may be difficult to park.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed. The great room has a Murphy bed with a very comfortable queen size mattress. And, there is also a queen size soft bed. The laundry area also has s a queen-sized air mattress that you can use on the queen size sleeper sofa to help with comfort.
Near the fire pit is a patio with table and chairs to enjoy the views.

There MAY be a FIRE BAN in place when you are interested in coming. Please check the Tonto Forest web site for alert ban status at https://www.fs.usda.gov/alerts/tonto/alerts-notices
I will have a sign on the fire pit if I know there is a ban in place. But, it changes often, according to the weather, etc. I do not control the state fire ban laws. Safety is important!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property! We loved the woodsy decor, the open floor plan, and the big bedroom with a very comfortable king- size bed. The outdoor area had comfortable chairs, a nice grill and fire pit, and great views of the hills. We would definitely stay here again! It’s only a few miles to Payson and close to a lot of the outdoor activities we wanted to experience.

Everything about the property was great. Little tricky getting there with the dirt road and turn into the road but no other issues. Kitchen had everything a house would have. On site laundry was nice. Very clean and orderly.

The king bed was super comfy and the kitchen had everything you could want. The nice small touches like the dog bed, bowl set, and dog treats were a wonderful extra touch. We had a great stay and the area was lovely with lots of dog friendly restaurants, parks, and hikes.

Fantastic trip

Our 3 night stay was fantastic . The furniture and decor was amazing and very comfortable. Each morning we had coffee on the deck to plan our day. Perfect distance from Payson area making it convenient for restaurants, antiquing, thrift shopping and hiking. Hope to go back again.

We loved this place. Comfortable bed. Plenty of space for the two of us plus our labrador retriever. Our dog enjoyed exploring the great outdoors. The driveway is shared with two other homes, but they were very respectful when coming & going. The internet was a little spotty. I would suggest bringing your own mobile WiFi, if you need to do lots of computer work during your stay. As said in the description, the road leading to the home is dirt and has some "potholes" mostly by the dealership. The host was very attentive and answered our questions immediately. We enjoyed sitting outside and soaking up the cool sun in the mornings & a light breeze in the evenings as the sun went away for the day and just getting away from "it all". Payson itself is a great town. Reminded me of my hometown, Paradise CA. There is a dog park nearby (Rumsey Park). My girl enjoyed her morning routine of sniffin' butts and playing fetch. All the restaurants we visited had great food and big portions. We visited Macky's Grill, Rim Country BBQ (which offer BBQ, pizza & Italian), Crosswinds (where you can watch planes land & take off at the airport), Tiny's (served huge portions), Duza's Kitchen (eclectic options of food), Buffalo Bar & Grill. Many of these options have dog friendly patios too!
