Cozy 2 bedroom carriage home in private Backyard in quiet neighborhood

You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located place. We are located in a quiet neighborhood right off a bike/walking path.

This is a self-contained carriage house located in a private backyard. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a double bed. Each bedroom has its own half bath!

There is also 1 full bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Have a nice relaxing meal out on the patio. There is also A/C so you can keep cool on the hot summer days!

Walking distance to Long Lake or Brannen Lake, where you can go fishing, kayaking, and swimming.

There are restaurants, shops, all few minutes walk away.

Less than a 10 minute drive to Rec centers, swimming, hiking and to the ocean.

Or take a 20 min scenic drive to Parksville for a day at the beach. If you go a bit further north, you can go to Qualicum Beach or Coombs. If you like exploring a bit more, you can also take a ferry from downtown Nanaimo to Gabriola Island for the day. If you go a bit further south island, you can get to Chemainus or take a ferry to Salt Spring Island and visit their very popular Saturday Farmers Market from April until October.

We had a great 3-night stay at this carriage house in Nanaimo. We were attending a family reunion close by, and this was the perfect place for my family and I to return to each night. Anny and her family were lovely and gracious hosts. Her young boys even offered us a glass of lemonade from their lemonade stand when we arrived!😊

Good for a few nights

Beds were comfy and clean. There was a bit of dust but nothing unreasonable. We appreciated having multiple toilets and the kitchen had everything we needed for our breakfasts. Wifi worked well. The bathroom exhaust fan didn't seem very effective after showering. The garden house is quiet and in a quiet neighbourhood.

Good Fit For Us

My wife and I were traveling with our daughter, son-in-law and our 15 month old grandson. This 2 bedroom unit was perfect for our 1 night in Nanaimo. We were pleasantly surprised to to have a small bathroom connected to each of the 2 bedrooms in addition to a 3rd bathroom with a shower. Anny was a very nice host!

Well equipped and clean. Nespresso vertuo machine for coffees so bring your own pods. No signage on front on how to get to unit nor a walkway to unit. Overall would recommend it! We loved the fact it had two half baths and one full bath!

Clean, quiet, near shops in North Nanaimo

The property is clean and quiet and in a safe neighbourhood. The carriage house is centrally located in North Nanaimo and close to the offices, etc. we needed when we were doing our return to Canada after having lived in USA. There is a bit of a tricky turn at the south end of the highway access street. Would be best to visualize that carefully on a map for comings and goings.

Lovely Backyard Cottage - Highly Recommend

Located in a quiet neighborhood, lovely backyard cottage. The backyard cottage was clean and well maintained. This place has everything you need to feel comfortable and conveniently at home. Air conditioning and heating in the home. The cottage is spacious and has a well-stocked kitchen which isn't always the case with other stays (even had snacks and treats for us)! They were great hosts and are very friendly, thoughtful, and accommodating. The proximity to the ferry, grocery stores, and liquor store, made it the perfect choice. Made my stay in Nanaimo so much nicer, highly recommend!
