Villa Rosa - a charming five bedroom villa with spa pool

Villa Rosa is fronted by stunning red roses with an intimate enclosed rear garden ideally configured for outside dining and entertaining.

All guest bedrooms are spacious with tall bay windows in front, and matai flooring and high ceilings - so characteristic of villas of this age.

The main living area is open plan and offers comfortable dining and lounge facilities. A modern kitchen has all the necessary facilities if you wish to cater for yourselves, otherwise there is a wide choice of dining establishments within a few minutes walk.

It is also a great place to come at any time of year to relax, eat at award winning restaurants, sample fine wines and stroll through the village complete with great cafes, boutique clothing, jewellery, home decor and food stores.

We are confident that you will find Villa Rosa to be an ideal weekend (or midweek) retreat in any season with a spa pool, cosy fire in winter and a sun drenched private garden in the summer - all perfect for letting the cares of everyday life melt away.

Lovely old villa with all the mod cons

Brilliant villa with everything you need provided. Sitting in the spa in the crisp mornings and then having a cup of tea in front of the fire couldn’t be more relaxing. Nice short walk and bike ride for the kids to town to stock up on supplies or play in the playground made it a nice fun time away

Villa Rosa exceeded our expectations. It was a lovely cosy house, very clean and tidy. Dianne was very communicative and there to meet us when we got there, even had some food organised for us. Locationwise it was very convient and close to town and wineries.

Varsity Mates annual get-away

Havent been to Martinborough before. 5 of us ventured there from different parts of the country. Played golf, walked the Patuna Chasm and visited a few Vineyards of course. This was a perfect place to stay as it was only a couple of minutes walk to town. Great old place. Highly recommend it. Thanks Diane

Martinborough Family Villa

We enjoyed a 5 day stay in central Martinborough in this warm, stately home. Plenty of room for our two families with 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The spa was well enjoyed by the kids and the living areas had plenty of seating for all. The breakfast provided was an added bonus as we arrived at night and didn't have time to get some on the way. The villa is very close to the central square (5min walk) and the host is very helpful and friendly. We really appreciated the easy lock up/check out too.

I walked in the door and said wow. It is a beautiful old villa that has been very tastefully done up with beautiful furniture, chandeliers, polished wood floors with rugs. Every bedroom was gorgeous. The kitchen was good and the spa was a real bonus.

Lacking a few things

Not happy with only 1 towel per person when there is a spa. Need more tea towels and dishwasher tablets.! 5 for three nights only provided. BBQ needed cleaning and didn’t function properly. Few things like that make a difference. Beds comfortable but when renting five bedrooms even if three couples two rooms should not be locked off
