Rooty’s Way in PEC
A cozy, comfortable and very private four-season cottage with a spectacular
view of the Bay of Quinte. The lakefront cottage, Rooty’s Way, is ideally
situated, surrounded by farms, forests, orchards and wineries. Stunning sunrises that
can be seen from every window in the main cottage. It is a perfect location for families,
groups of friends or a romantic get-away.
Rooty’s Way is located just a short drive away from Picton and across the bay from
Waupoos Prince Edward County (PEC) and a 35-minute drive to Kingston and the 1000
islands. It’s an incredible location for enjoying the sights, dining, recreation, arts and
culture of Prince Edward County.
Inside the Cottage
The space is warm and rustic, full of sunlight and wonderful lake breezes. Rooty’s Way
has 3 bedrooms and comfortably sleeps six people, in addition there is a large bunkie
with a Queen bed. The cottage has 1 bathroom with a shower. You will enjoy the
modern comforts you need for a relaxing cottage vacation.
The cottage has high ceilings and a large window overlooking the lake, just steps away.
Outside
The lake is a perfect temperature for swimming.
The large wrap-around deck is a wonderful place to sit and read a book, enjoy a meal,
barbecue or watch the sailboats, swans and loons.
While there is so much to see and do in and around PEC, you may just want to stay put.
Rooty’s Way is designed for leisure and fun with lots of indoor and outdoor games, an
entertainment system including a large and varied record and CD collection, a large
book collection, a piano, water toys and great walking and cycling routes nearby.
